I just took on batista with Jill who is still early into T8. She was able to beat him no problem, but she has 1600 HP and a handful of forj scrolls to fall back on. I think it is the scrolls that are making the difference for him and depending on what weapons you blast
I'm kinda stuck in a rut right now....I know I should try and farm for amulets and tomes....but I'm getting to that point where, I'm almost done doing that...not may left, but then with a couple I can't beat them now...so it's like, do I spend EXP to get more points, or do I used some tomes? I've being trying to hold on to them for when Haneul gets to t13.
I need some motivation....

Is Dark Goddess Rod endgame light defence? I have Hydragellos, but it has no heal so I'd assume I would want to update that eventually.

That's correct yes, the only better weapon for light def would be which is an OG god weapon - billions of sp and essentially unobtainable The Hydragellos core can be combined with the Gelatin Concoction to make Which is the usual end game DARK blocker :)

Since I've started checking out more battle items, I can't help but notice how some of them don't have any description on what they do (besides a Stealer/Healer/Freezer tag). Are guides the only way of knowing?

@ WindKitsune Without buying them, yes :( If you look at them in the armoury they have their base damage icons, but that's it I look them up on subetalodge; they have a weapon list that you can filter by tier or icons and such, and most items have full info on them

Is broken Lucent ever useful?
Even with guides/SubetaLodge, some weapons are still estimates of percentages of things occurring (curses, freeze rate, etc.). I agree with the above though, SL is a great tool. Especially when looking for a specific icon to defend/attack with.
