This will be my first event and I've looked at the pretty stuff and want it ALL...just have to work out an outfit...lol...and get a mask...and then I am going to dance and improve my outfit with things from the shops...LOL...

I know, I know.. Amber said it was delayed and it was still going to happen. I know the delay is for good reasons and we can't control personal lives, especially with everything going on in the real world right now. I'm not angry about it, but at the same time, I can't help but get frustrated.

I would be over the moon if it happens this week. There's no rush of course. If news is slow lol that gets my hopes up....

It'd be great if it started tomorrow, but I'll also live if it doesn't. (Mainly because I'm off for the weekend :'D)

I really thought it could be in early April, not closer to the middle of it...and I'm still worried about Vesnali. Even if it does still start in late May, it could end up starting at the very end of May and still run over mostly into June. Hopefully Neugarten won't need to be delayed too much even though that could start at any time between June and September.

I've got my dancing shoes ready (along with about a dozen HAs)! I won't be surprised if I call out of work when it finally starts :P

Same, like I said, when they said it would be in April I thought it would be within the first week or so. I can't help but wonder just what it is that's keeping the staff so busy aside from the virus stuff, are they having internet problems again or something?

No idea D: My favourite part of Subeta is the events. That makes me sad.

I'm due to start class on Monday - was hoping to have some time to dance before having to study exclusively :/ Guess that won't be happening after all. I'm heartbroken.

So Masquerade isn't really my most favorite event, but I went ahead and made a couple of outfits while we wait. I made one that's kind of a traditional steampunk themed one, and another that fits the more cyberpunk/rave/bright colors vibe from recent years. I'll wait until the event actually starts to switch between them, but I'm pretty happy with what I came up with this year! Normally I just do something kinda simple or re-use an old outfit lol.

Yes, they did better with communication about this year's Survival, so why not here too?

I've seriously been getting an impression of the Broken Window theory around the site over the last 2 or 3 years. Once one event was delayed a while ago...it became acceptable to do it again, and again. Its no longer a big deal to put something off for a few days...weeks...etc.. Not to mention the lack of plots or actual new content other than items or challengers. There is an aura of neglect that is building up, despite how much hard-working staff like Amber are doing to keep the site running.

I completely agree. It seems as if the site is decaying, which I guess is the trend now with avatar/pet sites. They just aren't as popular as they used to be but it's a shame, especially when Subeta staff has said in the past that they want to be more open and communicative with the userbase.
