On Subeta, there are many, many kind people, but you are on of the rare few that puts yourself out there for all of Subeta. Recipes [spoiler=Cream Cheese Frosting]Ingredients Makes 4 cups. Prep time = 0 minutes. Cook time = 5 minutes. Cost = $. Difficulty 1-5 = 1. Gluten-Free.
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened 8 oz. cream cheese softened (brick-style, not spreadable) 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1/4 tsp. salt 2 cups powdered sugar
Note: If you want to pipe this icing for decorating, you can add corn starch 1 tbsp. at a time until you reach desired thickness.
Instructions
- Combine butter and cream cheese in the bowl of a stand mixer with the paddle attachment (or you may use an electric hand mixer) and beat until creamy, well-combined, and lump-free.
- Add vanilla extract and salt and stir well to combine.
- With mixer on low, gradually add powdered sugar until completely combined. Enjoy!
