I meant just in general, I would be happy with anything within the theme...but the bear idea is really cute. :) PPE and uniforms would be cool, but I'd hate to bombard staff with a ton of wearable requests. >.> Honestly, the emergency personnel stuff I'd appreciate for treasure purposes, but I'd like any of it. ♥

I think they'd be a fun tie in with the Survival event. The theme could extend into appreciation in the L'Amour Parlour.

It's kinda a little late for that; Survival starts in three weeks :(

There was a lot of pushback originally on Covid-19 related themes, I think there still is. Which says a lot about the mindset of society: "If we stick our heads in the sand, even on pet sites with worse medical items and themes, it doesn't exist."

My two cents.

I would love some scrubs! I am gonna buy some new scrubs for my return to in-person caregiving this week (yurgh) and it would be so cool if I could dress my avatar to match. More PPE items in general would be awesome!

And I just wanna say, I get the feeling of being worn down over covid stuff. It’s not always wanting to burry your head in the sand (some ppl it is and it’s infuriating) but sometimes it’s just fatigue and wearing down of the spirit. Subeta is an escape for lots of ppl and I fully sympathize with wanting to “go” somewhere like Subeta to get it off your mind and not have to think of it when you’re here, when you have to think of it all day every day irl.

That being said I’m personally down for more medical items and protective gear, lots of use for stuff like that on a site like this. :)

Reminder that we essential workers existed before COVID, and COVID fatigue shouldn't be an excuse for that.

I have been an essential worker thru most of covid so far, I was just trying to give some benefit of the doubt for why there was pushback especially early on. Personally, I like getting a break from thinking about how I can possibly die while at work on the daily, so I get it. I’m not saying it’s a reason to hold back releasing more items.

I don’t think that Subeta is pushing essential workers under the carpet tho, they released a ton of mask items months ago so I feel like they’re perfectly fine with releasing PPE and similar items.

If this line (plus the other one) exists there’s precedence for more stuff already. It’s more a matter of how much content can we expect Subeta to release at this point...

I would love to have some scrubs, especially with fun prints. As for other emergency workers and retail maybe we could get items that put us in their shoes, like a retail counter and a fire station.

With or without the pandemic we already have a precedent on Subeta for medical related items in Medicontra. As for the others they worked hard before the pandemic and still do. I would have enjoyed these items before the pandemic and I see no reason to not represent their hard work now.

In the years to come I hope Subeta is still here and if it is items like these could serve as a reminder of the people whose hard work keep things going and us alive. They don't need to be a reminder of the pandemic just a reminder to show some respect and appreciation. Whether or not there is an international emergency they deserve that anyway.
