The Demon that Dwells in Me
That the ''Sandman'' series is in the top 1 these last few days is nothing new! Many people have loved it, others not so much... But what we cannot deny is that the representations of entities, gods, demons, etc, are very different from what we have in our imagination! Transform some demon, entity or god into a representation that would be ideal for you! Also, tell us a little about why you did it that way!

Contest ends 08/13!!!
Please have fun <3

Well, going with the Sandman idea, I chose Dream. I know why he is what he is: dark, broody, and sometimes heartless. But I like thinking that even a dream master who deals in nightmares as often as day dreams, that he'd be edgy but fun! I like that, and I think it fits me pretty well. Outfit Not Found

For a great prince of Hell, the traditional depictions of Stolas are just too adorable. De Plancy's illustration of them as a crowned burrowing owl, with horned owl head tufts, looks more huggable than unholy.
I chose the barn owl face, as it makes me think of magic and night time mysteries more than any other owl, and I wore my favorite witchy gown.
Since Stolas teaches astronomy and herbology I filled the room with plants and a telescope with star charts.
I chose Inari Okami the Shinto Goddess of foxes, fertility, rice, tea and sake, of agriculture and industry, of general prosperity and worldly success. She is a major goddess in Shinto and i went with the red tori shrine BG as the red tori are specifically used to denote her as her color is red. I picked a red white color scheme for her as she's often depicted as a pure white fox or a white fox with red markings. Her messengers come in the form of white foxes so I added a white shoulder buddy.

I have not seen the show yet, so I have absolutely no idea what's going on here. LOL! I'll just say, I'm a horror genre fanatic, and I like to be terrified. Period. This is how I like my demons no matter how The Sandman depicts them. :p

Reaching the heights of popularity during the 17th century, vanitas paintings enchant with their mysterious, unsettling messages. Connected to the theme of memento mori, they are symbolic works of art that illustrate and emphasize the transience of life. Usually, vanitas is recognized by the presence of objects or symbols connected to death and the shortness of life, such as a skull or skeleton, but also musical instruments, timepieces, or candles. The vanitas genre was very popular during the 17th century in Europe. The vanitas theme originates in the Book of Ecclesiastes, which claims everything material is a vanity, and in memento mori, a theme that reminds us of death’s imminence.
Create a HA with a Vanitas theme. All wearables are allowed, you don't have to own them. Please make a new HA especially for this contest and please add surroundings.
