Does it matter that mine don't have backgrounds? I thought they'd be distracting since the existing ones are torso-up without backgrounds, but in the lineup with all the others they look plain without one. : (

We won't be drawing any of the backgrounds, so you don't need one for your entry to count!

I don't think that's necessary. We'll just remind everybody while voting that we are not using the background as a thing to keep in mind.
