We're already into the 100+ this week which is definitely TOO hot and way above our average. Normally for June we're in the 80s and never got above 90 until the last year or 2. :(

That is way too hot for me. Normally we don't get this hot until end of June/beginning of July.
I'm still trying to get the house tidied up but motivation has been hard to find lately. I'm still working on D&D stuff as well, but even that has slowed. I've been in a bit of a slump since last week when I found out that my hours on the farm have been slashed because they are being given to my nephew (who has zero interest in the farm).

I do a really great job at internalized everything due to anxiety and having a hard time explaining how/why I'm feeling a certain way (which I've realized stems from my parents not truly listening to how I've felt whenever I would talk about things that bothered me). I def won't mention it to two of my friends who are his cousins, one is pretty close to him and I'm not sure how she would take the info. It's difficult to even bring it up, so it would just be an extremely awkward conversation.
These cats are pretty good at glaring, lol, especially if you disturb their nap. My own hair has almost killed a vacuum! I don't know if it's true or not, but humans supposedly shed 120+ strands of hair a day, so how much does a cat lose in a day when they are covered head to toe in fur? I can vacuum the living room and within an hour there are already clumps of fur on the floor. It's almost like they have to make sure it's known that a cat lives here.
It is nice. I hated living in an apartment because it felt like it could never truly become a home with all the restrictions. Then I hear about people repainting walls in their apartment and making other changes and I question how they got so lucky. Pink houses just remind me of Barbie. I once drove past a house that had pink siding, I don't know if it started out pink or faded to pink. No, it was my own parents, which makes it even worse. If I had said anything back, I would have been slammed for making snide remarks or being rude (which has happened every other time I stand up for myself against them).
I hate having to hunt for spices, I end up feeling like I'm losing my mind! I gather everything I need before I start baking/cooking, that way I can switch to a different recipe or look up substitutions for ingredients online. Chris never checks, he just starts cooking and throws stuff together.
The only useful thing I've bought from Best Buy was a screen protector for my smartwatch and it was on sale. If it hadn't been on sale, I wouldn't have bought it because it was originally priced at $20 for one measly little screen protector.
Oh! I'd love to find patterns from the 50s! My craft room is a total mess (think boxes stacked everywhere) so I won't be doing any sewing/crafting until I get that sorted. I hand-sewed a skirt a few years ago for ren faire, but I did it the easiest way possible. I just took one long length of fabric, pleated it, stitched all the pleats down, and sewed on a button. It didn't help that I gave myself less than a week to get it done but it doesn't look terrible for a quick attempt. It buttoned and tied at the waist and then I had three leather cords going down the side that tied it closed. I wore leggings underneath because the initial plan was that the skirt would probably come off at some point at the fair. I really need to get my craft room cleaned up so I can start working on all my ideas for ren faire outfits! That's a bummer :( I never got a chance to visit any charity shops when I was in England 9 years ago, but I visited one in Ireland. I do recall only seeing clothing at that charity shop. You're welcome! If I get any more bunnies I'll send them your way, they've been elusive lately.

I wish I could just get a project done without spending hours planning. Sometimes I spent too much time on that stage, maybe because I get too many ideas and can't narrow them down. But I did really well sketching out hubby's Christmas present last year, only took me three hours and I stopped myself from erasing half of it to make it less wonky. The painting part took forever though. I know, and most guys are not very sentimental either, seems like some of them would rather just get 'manly' stuff as gifts. Hubby isn't sentimental about anything unless it's something I gave him or got for him (he still has all the letters I wrote to him when he went to basic 9 years ago). He was so proud of the painting that I made him for Christmas of the Mando and Grogu that he showed it off right away on Facebook.
So the one anniversary gift idea I've had so far is to make something incorporating our wedding vows, but I'm drawing a blank on what to do. I'm terrible at calligraphy, so that knocks out writing it out and framing it.
I looked up the ice tie-dye and it looks awesome! If I try tie-dying again, that will be the method I try. I hear you about the weather. Last week was the first solid week of sunshine since May and this week summer has moved in in full force with triple-digit temps. I've got a tie-dyed tank top I bought that's just blue and white and it looks really nice. I might have to make one myself with just purple or green. I've also seen reverse tie-dye with bleach. I look forward to hearing/seeing how they turn out :)
Yeah I have about 0 motivation to do anything! Awe I am so sorry to hear that hugs that really stinks! Why would they do that if he has no interest in it? How does he feel about it?

It is never good when we don't feel listened to hugs I know how that feels. You get to a point where you just don't say anything at all.
I don't blame them! I don't want anyone waking me up either! It is crazy how much hair is everywhere. I know what you mean. I guess they need to mark their territory. At least they don't do what dogs do lol.
I know and there is always this threat of getting tossed out or the rent going up. I wish we could paint, but at the same time I don't want to spend the money on paint. The house was like pepto pink. Super ugly! Oh that makes it even worse :(
My sister is like that. She never reads a recipe. I could never do that. I need to make it edible, and my sister can't cook at all lol.
That is crazy. They are too expensive!

I still have quite a ways to go before I hit the 35k cap, but it's a nice milestone anyway! Now to keep doing BQs and working towards the final stat build that I have in mind.
Welcome :) Yeah it gets harder when you can't use the gym anymore. All those stat boosters and tomes can be expensive! I really need to get back into doing the BQs every day.
Do you want a buddy GA? I think you can do more BQs that way.
Yeah, I had some tomes saved up in my vault that I was saving to use when I hit Tier 13, so I used all of those and now I'm going to save the amulets that I get from Quentin's quests from now on as well to get more tomes. I probably won't buy any because I have other things that I want to spend sP on, but I'll get there eventually through saving and other methods. :)
And thank you for the offer, but I'm good for now I think. I still have some loyalty boxes that I haven't used yet, so I may use one of them soon-ish to activate a 3 month GA thing, maybe I'll do that around when they start the quest-a-thon.
I spent a ton to cap Talon's stats. At the time reaching that goal was the only thing I was really doing on here. Now I just want to change his numbers around. Welcome Hun :) Good idea! Hopefully it will start soon.
Yeah, battling and training a pet can be expensive, but I've gotten this far so I'll reach the end goal eventually haha.
I think it should start somewhat soon, I know they're doing the summer items tomorrow and then I'm thinking the quest-a-thon will start either later this week or next week probably, since it's supposed to be before Neugarten which is sometime in July.

Things are calming down somewhat on my end. The end of the year school stuff is winding down (last day is the 23rd) and I have a minivan again. I just need to get through this week and hopefully things will stay mostly calm all Summer.
