Yeah that isn't a good thing to do, but sometimes we just can't help it hugs Oh I deff wouldn't say anything to his relatives. It is probably best not to open that can of worms. You don't want to end up having to defend yourself (verbally I mean) against people who might take his side.
OMG I can just imagine that glare! Oh yeah hair will kill your vacuum faster then anything. It gets all tangled up on the rotating parts and it is a mess :( You start to wonder how there can be so much hair laying around, but no one is bald yet lmao!
Being able to do what you want and how you want it done in your own home is wonderful! So much freedom!! I hate having to live under someone elses rules. I have seen pink houses and they are just awful to look at! They really stick out and not in a good way. Ugh WTH? I swear people just need to mind their own business. Are they neighbors?
It is way better then having to hunt for things. Nothing worse when you are cooking then finding you don't actually have something you were totally convinced that you had. Being able to see everything quickly is great :D

Tried styling the basket of flowers item now the wardrobe is behaving, gone for full floral! Can totally recommend the homemade soup, I made lots and just finished the last of it today. So good with warm bread. drools

I got some maxi skirt patterns, some 50s type dress ones and a jacket. My sewing machine is currently out of action so no big projects until that is fixed. I have hand sewn skirts before but anything more complex becomes a chore! If only we had thrift stores here...

Super busy weekend here, lots of family birthdays this month but the weather was raining again, so online video party, kids crafting and easy party games! Mostly chaos, really. 😆

It is amazing how many bdays follow after a long winter! The worst thing about an online party is how do you get the cake?!?!? I need cake! Sounds busy, but in a good way :)

Oh, we were super organised and made sure cake was delivered before the party to each home. Of course, they had to provide their own candle if they wanted to join in with that bit, but it was about as good as we could manage.

To be fair, we had to do something with the cake - we ended up with three in total plus cupcakes too! Now, I like cake but that’s one heck of a lot.
So, delivery became the way forward!

So much cake faints! I think that is too much even for me lol.
We are still working through it now! I think I need more savoury foods for a while... We had bean chilli today, that was good.
Next week will be hectic for different reasons, we’re meant to be painting one of the bedrooms. I think I prefer the parties!

Yeah, I am really hoping the weather improves and we can have the windows open wide - with the rain and hail storms recently, I don’t want the carpet soaking whilst we’re trying to avoid the paint fumes! There’ll be extra prep too, as the room had a dart board on one wall, and from the dents / holes in the wall, the players had bad aim...

It finally stopped raining every day. I would deff need to have all the windows open. I can not deal with paint fumes at all! Oh geeze lol! It is funny and awful at the same time!

See I don’t spend enough time planning lol. I just want it done. I like that he enjoys the handmade gifts. You don’t always get that with guys, you know? I can’t wait to hear what you come up with for this year! Let me know if you need any help with ideas or something. I’d be more than happy to help if I can! Yeah I’ve never seen glitter tie dye before. I’ve seen the ice tie dye trick before on Pinterest. It just makes it look more like watercolor than traditional tie dye. I’ll let you know how it goes once I do it. I’m just waiting for a good patch of weather. I always put my stuff in plastic bags and stash them on my porch out of the way of most weather but it’s the dyeing part that I need lots of room to do. I could possibly do it this weekend but it’s going to be around 90 degrees and I’m not sure how I’ll be feeling. I’m supposed to get my second Covid shot on Thursday so who knows if I’ll even get off the couch. One color tie dye can turn out cool too! My youngest nephew is obsessed with orange so we did a white shirt with orange dye and he loves it. I might even try and do a single color one myself this time, we’ll see!
But hellooooo sharkies! I popped back on just in time to see Vesnali is coming, yayyyy. I wonder if we’ll get any new flowers! I would love to see them do a few tropical ones.
