Same! I just found a used book store close to me, but I haven't had a chance to go yet. I know a lot of people use kindles or whatever they are called, but I still prefer actual books. I love collecting the SW ones.

They are based off the original characters with a lot of new characters added to it. Most of my pets are named after characters from the Expanded Universe. A group of authors were allowed to use the characters (following guidelines set up by Lucas) to continue the story (or in some cases fill in gaps between the original films). I love them :) Some of my favorite characters are only found in the books. My favorite ones are trilogy series like the Thrawn trilogy. That is what should have been made into a movie!! It is great that the authors basically work together and use each others books to keep the continuity going. If a character is killed off in one author's story, they wont magically be in another author's book.

I quite agree with you, I have got a kindle reader-y thing, but real books for the win. I even like real magazines too, knitting and crafts and cookery.

Ah, so back stories, prequels, “mentioned once and I want to know their story” and that sort of thing? It’s good that they follow each other’s storylines, no one needs the confusion of someone blowing up in one book and just being fine in the next.

I say this as a fan of horror films, the sequels of which sometimes make NO SENSE. At all. 😬

When Emily was in school they mailed us a kindle for her, but I never did get that thing to work. Yeah I deff prefer being able to hold a book or magazine and flip through the pages.

Some backstories and stuff, but mostly just brand new continuing adventures! They even had a whole war with a new race. It was a great read! Han and Leia had 3 kids instead of just one. Luke got married and he had a son named Ben (but he was a good kid lol). Yes it deff kept things running smoothly!

I am a big baby so I am not big on horror movies lol.

Ah, so creativity can run free? That’s nice. You never know, they may be picked up and tv or filmed at some point. Which will either be great or never as good as the books!

Oh, I only have a few friends who are into horror, I quite get it’s not to everyone’s taste. Though I often wonder because it’s so niche, do we put up with worse films? 😆

Ah, it's kind of cloudy here too today, but it's not really supposed to rain much. I think we're planning on going down to the beach later just to walk around and enjoy some fresh air, haven't been there in a while so that should be fun.

I know :D Plus so many books are just pretty or interesting to look at and display. Kinda hard to display a kindle or tablet lol.

Now that Disney owns everything who knows what will happen! They already stopped an older book from being sold on Amazon. Who knows what they will do next.

My biggest problem with most horror movies is that they just end so badly!! "Yay everyone is safe!!" two seconds later "Oh crap everyone died!!!" lol. I hate watching a movie where it looks like the character is actually smart, but then they do the stupidest thing and blow the whole thing!!!

I love it <3 especially the csc and vouchers! I have been loving the special item too! I have the Goddess level, so I never thought about changing it. I think you can change it once the current one runs out. I am guessing it will be in the middle of the month, but who knows. I am really hoping we get new flowers this year.

I can understand that! The only reason I went with the Goddess level is because it actually saves me from buying csc for at least 3 bunny dresses :D Plus I also get 500 csc. If I bought all of that indiviually it would be at least $25. If I did the math right lol.

I probably have too many of them. Thankfully I was able to get a lot of them from the pawn shop. Deff a lot cheaper that way.

I don't recall seeing any in the pawn shop but have some on my WL. Someday.

I only saw one this last time, but I got a few the other times it was open.
