Some crushed teal and purple filler to put in a glass jar I already have. I have a fake succulent plant that I’m going to put in it and decorate. I also got some chunky glitter paint and a bunch of unfinished wood decorations. Painting unfinished wood is my favorite thing. I love to paint them and almost every single one gets finished with glitter paint lol! I got mostly beachy ones, a sign, a turtle, and a sea themed wreath. I also got a star one to do for 4th of July. Oh and I got a few shirts to tie dye as well!

Same here, but next week it is supposed to get up into the 80's. Not gonna be happy with that! Oh geeze it is always something huh :( It shouldn't be too late if you aren't planting seeds or bulbs. I wish I could put flowers outside, but with the stupid walkway blocking the sun they don't do very well. Emily probably has every one that you saw lmao! Yeah the zoos charge a fortune for those things! Wow it amazes me how you all keep up with everything. I would get so confused. Not that it is very hard to confuse me lol. It sounds really exciting! Will edit more later. Emily is nagging me to play KH1.5 with her. Again!

Ooh, that will look beautiful. I need to get more filler for my flower vases, my cats like to knock them over. I'm sure they'll look amazing when they are finished and glitter paint adds the right amount of sparkle, plus it's easier to work with than loose glitter. Do you paint scenes on the signs or just various colors? I haven't done tie-dye in years...I could never get designs to come out right. But I've seen some really pretty tie-dye pieces.

I don't mind the warm temps, yesterday it got above 90, but it was too windy to do anything outside. It's warm again today too and the wind picked back up by 9. It was 53 this morning and I quickly shed my hoodie then got most of the weed-eating done until I ran out of string. When I thought I ran out of the string last time, I actually hadn't, it just failed to feed through. I've got flower bulbs and seeds left to plant, but the areas I want to plant them are covered with pebbles that need to be moved. Does she have one that has a rattle in it to make it sound like Simba is purring? I've got that one and two or three other Simba's. It's ridiculous what zoos charge in the gift shop. Want a giant zebra plushie, that'll be $100. I'm the notetaker for our sessions. I keep track of where we go and who learns what info/picks up a certain item, then I log our battles (what we fought, how many turns it took). It helps out our DM because then she doesn't have to be the only one giving a refresher at the next session. I'm still working out the finer details for my druid's backstory, which I've been working on since last week, so that's the only reason why that part is so fresh in my mind. Totally fine, Kingdom Hearts is amazing and a worthy distraction! That's how I am with Dragon Age-I've played it before but sure I'll play it again and again.

"Unlocked Dancing Steamwork Style! You danced so well with your mystery dancer, you got an achievement!" Did anybody know this was a thing? And no unfortunately it didn't unlock either of the new borders. Darn.

Edit on next Mystery Dance- "Congratulations! You just unlocked the Steamwork Masquerade Avatar Border!" Wow that was quick.

Board limits on posts have been reduced to 1000 from 5000. So now I really have to pay attention to the number of posts, lol.

Kids are back in school this week, which gives me a little more time on here to catch up with dancing. I also get my second shot tomorrow! Then I can finally visit my parents worry free AND hug them in Mid May!

I got the steamworks border, still trying to get the rave border. I think it took staff a bit to actually get the borders implemented on site.

Has anyone noticed that the mystery dance time has increased from 10 to 15 minutes?

I’ve painted some little things on the wood stuff but nothing super intricate. I’m not great at drawing fancy stuff. I struggle with writing using paint and stuff too. Placement of letters and words is not my strong point. But eh, it’s fun. Most of the time the stuff I find is detailed enough that I just paint a base color and drown it in glitter paint lol. I’m not the best at patterns but it’s just fun to play with the colors. I’ve had a few spirals turn out pretty epic. One of my favorites I’ve done was a tank top that was aqua blue at the top and bottom and the middle was rainbow stripes.

Ew shots but yay for it being the second one so you can feel safe! I bet those hugs will be some of the best you’ve ever had. Just remember to drink lots of water the day of and the day after, I’ve heard it helps! I’ll hopefully be able to get mine scheduled soon. I’m about a week away from the day they said I can go get it.

I still haven't gotten the rave border yet, which is slightly frustrating, considering others have gotten it after 10 dances. Yeah, I think the time got bumped up because Keith wasn't happy that most users were choosing the mystery dance over dancing in the forums/being social.

It being fun is all that matters and you get home decor as well :) I'm not that great at painting, but I've found I have better control with brushes that have shorter, stiffer bristles. I'm terrible at spacing words and letters, I always leave too much space. Last year I made an anniversary gift for my husband with the lyrics of our first dance song shaped into a heart. I wrote out and erased the lyrics at least 6 times before I finally got the spacing and size right on the practice piece. But I still messed up the spacing on the finished project. Oh, that tank top sounds pretty! The last time I tie-died a shirt, I did a spiral but it failed. Thought I had added enough color but it didn't soak all the way in.

I'm also still waiting on the rave border. We only have a few more days.

Yeah the 2nd shot wiped me out for 2 days, I just collapsed on the couch the 1st day too tired to even get a cup of coffee. But glad I got it. I got the steam border I think with the 1st mystery dance early on when it started. Good luck! :D

I decided I was well enough for a short grocery shopping trip and a workout with my trainer. While probably not good decisions, I managed them both and then proceeded to nap twice this afternoon. I still feel blah, but I'm starting to have longer spells of feeling normal.

I was so confused by that. I couldn't tell if what just for the event boards, or if it is permanent for all of the boards.

So Masquerade has been extended through Monday. Nice. Wish there was better stuff in the shops though, I bought the few items I wanted the 1st day. And a lot of people are just tossing the trinkets into the donation center. Guess that's good for new people who need a lot in the shop.
