I get them from H-Mart and Japanese grocery stores, but I'm sure they're sold on Amazon.

I tried to buy Colgate because it was on sale recently, and my boyfriend asked me to put it back because he would miss the Arm & Hammer too much. It's a very strong acquired taste (all the flavors are minty), but I really feel clean after using it.

I started using Sensodyne back when I was bordering on periodontal disease and my teeth were extremely sensitive and just stuck with it even after my recovery.

If I may weigh in on the brushing before/after eating convo: I have read that brushing and flossing before eating disrupts the bacteria that has accumulated overnight on the teeth and gums, thus making the food you will be consuming less damaging to the enamel because there will be less bacteria to munch on the residue and create acids. I think making either choice is fine, though, because what is key is really consistency.

Hello. I like Hello. It's a literal brand. I use their whitening and sometimes their charcoal paste, but I try not to abuse the charcoal too much.. it tends to ruin enamel. :[

Sorry for my late reply. You asked me about my toothy tabs. The ones I bought once from LUSH were good till sufficient. Two of them didn't foamed. It was like curry powder with water. laugh And I used always two of them because they were tiny. The feeling in my mouth was similar with sand grains after chewing them.

Today was my first day that I could try DENTTABS. They're also tiny, but they smell very nice. Like mouthwash. ^^ But the experience wasn't satisfying. Chewing one of them and brush your teeth with some water was like the "curry powder" effect. It was not foamy. More like a stale cream. I think I have to use two or three of them after the supper later today. The packaging (100% compostable) contains 125 tabs. Using two tabs twice a day makes four per day - or six when using three tabs per tooth cleaning. Means I have to buy 12 packaging with these tabs for every month or in a bad case (when using six tabs a day) nearly the double amount. When the tabs could be a little bit bigger and flatter (like a coin) I think the effect would be better.

I discovered tooth powder last week in a organic supermarket. I will try it too when my tabs and toothpaste is consumed. If I remember rightly the tooth powder contains 100g and cost around 7€. It comes in four or five different flavors: rose, mint, herbs and curcuma with lemon or ginger.

I'm not picky but I prefer that blue mint over the green spearmint lol. I do remember reading something about how whitening toothpastes are pretty abrasive on your teeth and they have tiny specks that are almost like sandpaper on your enamel. I guess thats how it scrubs the plaque/yellow stuff off -_-

for me, colgate wisps are a lifesaver!! i'm disabled and the whole process of standing up and brushing my teeth can be pretty painful, plus i'm autistic so it's just a real bad sensory experience on top of that -_-;;

they're single use and disposable so it's so much less of a hassle for me. they are a Little strong but nothing unbearable.

i'm also gonna take poppit's advice and look for toothpaste the next time i'm at my local asian mart!! very strong mint flavors are hell for me, so maybe something less so could make it easier? x_x

but... all of this was overshadowed when i looked up korean toothpaste on amazon to see if i can add some to my next order and just got hit w/ the worst best tagline i've ever seen: "it's yummy & it does great stuff!™" fgffsdfgdhf

I use "Crest- gum & sensitivity" toothpaste as I have a few sensitive teeth! It's worked wonders. I hardly feel the sensitivity anymore! Before I used this one, I would flinch everytime I brushed my teeth. My dentist also recommended putting a blob on my sensitive spots before bed. I highly recommend this toothpaste! :D

I prefer toothpaste that's not too strong in the mint department. I'm never really a fan of having my mouth being so stingy fresh haha.

I really liked the Tooth Fairy powder by Lush. Really hate that they discontinued it. Mint makes me sick.

I use perodontax or sensodyne. I do have sensitive gums but mostly it's because the flavors are more dulled. Strongly flavored or scented toothpaste turns my stomach really easily.

Don't judge me, but I've been having a hard time making myself brush my teeth at times, for many reasons - being unable to care for myself during bad depression days, AND also not enjoying the taste of most toothpastes (I'm autistic and happen to HATE the flavor of menthol). Recently I've been experimenting with different flavors and thanks to that I'm finally back on track! So far I've been using these:

  • Dr Doctor Dear Foret toothpaste. It's Korean, ordered it on Yesstyle. Love the packaging design and the flavor is alright, it is minty but very, very faint. It's the type of toothpaste I can use to brush my teeth and eat something pretty soon after. It's supposed to be "fresh forest green tea" flavor but to me it's mostly minty-ish. I need to check the other flavors.
  • Curaprox Be You - I got a sample pack of all flavors. The flavors are - Blackberry and licorice, apple and aloe, grapefruit and bergamot, watermelon, gin & tonic and persimmon, peach and apricot. Hard to say which one is my favorite honestly, I like them all and use them interchangeably so far. Will have to decide which to get a full version of when I'm done with them!
  • Dr Bronner's All-One Peppermint Toothpaste. I recently ordered a set of Dr Bronners' stuff and it included the toothpaste, I was skeptical of the mint flavor but actually I like it a LOT. Probably because it's natural peppermint oil and not menthol, it's got a nice sweet flavor. (Bonus, Dr Bronner's 18 in 1 soap can also be used as toothpaste, I've tried it and it works but not a fan of the soap aftertaste. Only for emergencies or travel.)

Most tooth pastes are way too sweet and make me feel like I'm just rubbing sugar everywhere.

I'm a fan of Tom's and Native's lines. Slightly related ...love Hello's individual flossers since they're much more biodegradable (and Whole Food's branded toothpicks).

I do like sensoydne for that reason too. I just wish it wasn't so expensive.

I just looked these up, and they look so good! I like the idea of having variety.. it can give the chore an element of interest/excitement, that might make a difference on those days when brushing doesn't come automatic (I've been getting in a rut more and more now that I don't leave my house more than once a month).

Sensodyne's great! :D And yeah, feels like toothpaste is going on a price hike. .__. Whenever there's remotely a sale on toothpaste, I grab a couple and feel amazing lol.

My spouse hates anything mint with a FIERY PASSION aha. So brushing their teeth was always hard.

Their girlfriend like a year ago found this cinnamon toothpaste and it worked wonders for them. I decided to just put the minty away 'cause I didn't wanna clutter up the sink and just use the cinnamon too.

Honestly, it burns more haha, but I actually REALLY like it. I adore anything mint, so I don't mind regular toothpastes, but this is a game changer.

I have sensitive teeth so as recommended by my dentist, I use sensodyne. I really like it, not too bitter (i.e. burning mint) and ever since I've used it, my teeth have felt better.
