I was on a webex (I'm in realty) that talked about how 40% of the renting population in the US is behind and at risk of eviction and 30% of homeowners missed at least one payment this summer. My husband and I are very lucky to have made it these last 9 months without anything catastrophic happening to our livelihoods. I know a lot of people aren't that lucky and it's a really scary time.

so once upon a time in my Neopets days, I was big into roleplaying. My characters kinda came out of that-- It was an action/mystery type of story where there were a series of bombings in the city and my cop character was one of the ones on the team trying to find the person responsible-- it was still really focused on his personal life and the life outside of the "badge", so to speak. I miss it a little bit. Maybe one day I'll pick it back up.

here are my 3 wishes ^^

1. i've been saving/collecting/browsing for a while to gather all of the items i need for a winter-themed avatar and this is the last item i need to complete it! :>

2. i just love how serene this picture is! where i live there are so many great scenic places to go to for walks. this item reminds me of visiting those places on summer evenings and little thoughts like this keep me warm throughout the winter (we also tend to get a lot of snow). it also reminds me why i love gardening so much!

3. this is an extra special memento for me because it represents someone in my life who i absolutely adore, who has been working so hard this fall, working on our cozy little home, doing a variety of outdoor work and chopping firewood to keep us warm throughout these cold snowy months <3

i know that these items are not readily available in the shop at the moment so just in case they are not as easy to get a hold of, i would be happy to receive any of these as well! & just in case if you would be interested in it, i have other items in this wishlist that i would be happy to receive :) i will leave it up to you, i just wanted to include some options so as to not limit you in case the 3 wishes are difficult to obtain!!

The truth is, I can't afford CSC because I use food banks just to survive. I have a reading disability that makes it tough to quests. I do what I can and I'm at peace with that but I often visit "Sarah". This year with Empty Trees I thought of gifting the gifters since caregivers sometimes are forgotten... ironically I'm not taking anything from the prize pool since I'm organizing and quite honestly it would be unethical. I wished to contribute a lot, but all I managed to do was get 2 wigs from the cash shop for Black Friday with a little CSC I got from bathhouse. I haven't even been able to keep a month's streak due to RL challenges. Thankfully others donated so now the pool is better. I'm trying my best to create an ambiance of joy when behind the scenes I'm struggling. I keep reminding myself that I'm doing my best so it's all I can ask of myself.

I'd love to be able to afford CWs... but the reality is I can't. That's why I'm here. It would be great if I could get a treat... but I know it most likely won't be possible.

1) I'm quite impressed with the art due to the ability to make the dress flow and the way that it's cutout.

2) It reminds me of the days I lived in China and it's an incredible artwork.

3) My favourite holiday is Halloween, I'm fond of cats although I'm allergic to them (which is why I have a sphynx) and I enjoy carving pumpkins... combine the two in an oh so adorable way = AWWW!

4) This would be a great addition for my witch costume whereby a cat would be smelling the rose :)

5) This would help complement a winter outfit... I tried finding other skirts but this one is just the right length and colour.

I know the items are not easy (if not impossible) to get & I'm ok with that. I just thought I'd ask because it opens up the possibility of maybe :)

2020 wasn't what anyone wanted or expected. Part of me has trouble getting out of bed, but Gismo needs me and insists that I get up. I've had challenges but I've also been blessed with the kindness of people helping me pull through. Yeah, it's rough but more than ever we need people to encourage others to continue to hope, love, and reach out. In RL, I was the target of hate, especially recently. Nevertheless, I do my best to muster a pleasant hostess for ETs because more than ever everyone needs to remember what it feels like to smile. It's also why I'm doing the prize pool... many gifters have had rough times as well but they deserve to feel extra special as well. Ethical as I am, I refuse to take anything from the pool. In my residence, some have horribly abused their powers, including trying to cause problems for various people, including myself. People need more hobbies and tv shows to keep them busy lol.

Ahhh I'm sorry to hear that! I keep pretty detailed notes of what comes in through donations for this giveaway for just that reason-- I don't ever want to be in a situation where I'm spending someone's donation on my own stuff! I wish we could keep separate amounts of CSC in our vault though-- that's probably my biggest pain point!

For separating CSC, you could turn amounts into Credit Gift Card and then put those in a separate gallery section.

Very true, but it's terribly inconvenient to do it back and forth whenever I want to buy something.. haha. Mostly I'm just complaining about my first-world problem and being inconvenienced XD

I always have the feeling no one wants those... But then this was my second ever release - and I slotted and it was hard to even find enough slotters to get the batch on...

I feel so bad - I see a lot of my lumi BGs on WLs I wish there would be a way to get a few more copies on site since those were never slotted, just gifted XD

AND I am really clingy to my copy XD
