LOL we got trolled by the Hustler.... but I still think it will start this weekend. We could very well see Blake on Friday and have Fireside start on Saturday if staff aren't busy....
I am getting really worried about how short Fireside is going to be unless they really do overlap it with Luminaire or have less items. Sorry, I keep repeating myself, but it's more for me re-assuring myself than for anyone else. Hopefully the staff know what they're doing and will make sure we have enough time to get everything. And it's not like they haven't overlapped events before, with the Anniversary and Keel Hauliday clashing depending on what the former involves (since it can vary each year).
They did say it would be this week unless something came up, so I'm hoping it will be today rather than tomorrow or Sunday.

Considering it's started on the 20th and 21st in the past I guess it's technically not late yet. My new guess is that it'll start today or tomorrow -- any later than that wouldn't give us much time, unless it's extended into December.
Fireside never has as many items as Morostide, so a week and a few days should be enough.
Maybe it will start today! Though I am more excited for Luminaire :)
Still no signs, and time is running out. But maybe I'm biased because it started on the 18th back in 2018 (I'm not counting last year cause of all the site problems we had in November back then).

Hoping staff are holding up with all that's going on. There's still a slim chance this could happen this weekend, they might even just let it spill into December, like last year wasn't it?
Either way I'm still gonna camp outside the directory but when it happens, it'll happen. ❤
Every day I wake up and hope that today will be the day Fireside starts. It isn't life or death or anything but I'm not the best at waiting lmao.
I was so hoping to come online to find Fireside started today... Just came back to the site recently and I think I never participated in Fireside until now!
It's really taking its time this year, isn't it? But then again, maybe the staff have something going on in real life that we don't know about? I hope they have considered the timing...

Yeah, today is now the latest day that it's started any year except last year (which was extenuating circumstances). Getting worried...
<p>But if you look back further historically, it usually lasts closer to around 10-12 days, so it&;s not really in the "late" period yet.</p>

Hmm maybe we'll have another Fireside/Lumi crossover this year with the way everything has been going. If that's the case... all the more cozy items! :)
Wouldn't that be cool if it actually was a "crossover"? Like Melody and Red Rreign teaming up in some way? Ooh, or maybe they could be rivals due to Fireside encroaching on Melody's plans.
Maybe some thoughts for next year, eh?
