I am very, VERY happy that that LGTBQ+ is now mostly mainstream enough that it's not considered dangerous to a majority of society. But that wasn't always the case. There are people in living memory, probably even users on this site, who remember when a woman who liked women and a woman who liked being a dom were considered the same kind of existential threat to society, both just as sick and wrong to 'polite society', and when a Pride flag and a spanking horse were the same category of 'obscenity'. The kink community and the queer community are a Venn diagram, and the kink community has historically been a strong ally to the queer community because of that but also because the idea of being allowed to be yourself is important to both. So please, don't begrudge people who lived through older history or who are either or (both) category their representation or their validity, buy the items you want and avoid the tab if you don't want it and move on.

For an actual suggestion, not telling kids to get off my lawn, could we get the kissing option on the profile again? I understand people not wanting to go to the forums and see threads about virus strains or catching this or that, the profile options might help people manage their exposure better.

Items that represent traditions around the world would be cool too, like “romantic” foods, treats, and aphrodisiacs.

Floral items like rose bouquet teddy bears, fancy chocolates, more wearable jewelry, and cute stationery like cards and paper doilies please! All the classic gifts that are popular. c:
