i hope everything goes smoothly, thanks for the hard work! it'll be exciting how nightmode looks, i might have to switch to using that mode! although i generally find it harder looking at white text on black i'll be happy to test it out!
i apologise if this has been asked and answered already, and if it'll be discussed in a future update i'm more than happy to wait to hear more then as i know you're probably super busy! i'm just wondering after the mention that custom css won't really be possible with the new subeta (or correct me if i'm wrong, i may have misread something!) about the possibility of keeping some kind of border around the floating items during events? that's the main thing i use css for so i'm just curious to see how that may evolve with the new site :) ❤

Yayyy for Night Mode. Speaking of the New Subeta look: Does anyone know...Will we be able to use our themes on the new site? Like, I love my Luminaire theme because it's just serene and easy on my eyes.
I've been reading through the New Subeta threads for a bit but haven't seen that mentioned..sorry if I missed it!
Are you able to install a more up-to-date browser? Your Safari is just too outdated, it is a whole decade old. Unfortunately, it's not possible for us to guarantee support for older browsers.

Hello everyone! We've just deployed the second update to https://new.subeta.net/! So that's both updates done!
Before I go on, I know a lot of you have questions, concerns, and other feedback on the work we're doing with Subeta v2. I see you! Please read this staff post for important clarification on our plan with v2.
All right, so now for this update! We upgraded a lot of the code that powers our new UI, and most importantly... night mode! You can now toggle Night Mode by clicking the little moon icon in the top right corner of the page. It will change to a sun icon, which you can use to toggle it back to day mode if you wish!
Pages have been updated with better Night Mode colors, and there are a few other visual design improvements here and there - though please keep in mind that nothing is finalized yet, and there will be a forum opened for you to give your thoughts and suggestions soon.
If you notice any issues that seem to be new with this update, please let me know on this thread, and include your browser and device information. Please note that we cannot promise support for older browsers at this time; if you haven't updated your browser version in a few years, please consider updating your browser or installing a different browser that's more up-to-date.
While Night Mode is the most visible part of this update, the rest of the changes give us a better and more solid foundation to build webpage components moving forward. We're excited to continue with this work, and we hope you are too! <3

For those just tuning in, the Night Mode button only shows if you are in your Wardrobe.
just a little suggestion for visual clarity if you guys are taking suggestions or feedback ♥ to me, the sun icon for day mode currently almost looks like a little 'gear/settings' icon for some reason - not sure how many others feel that way.
SUPER sloppy, but something like this might be slightly better for visual clarity:

The button works for me now!!! And I love the detail of the image of Shengui Guo in the header changing to the night map.
Event Actions
Night Mode is a new feature in Subeta v2, and the icon shows up on all pages that are on new.subeta.net, not just the wardrobe.

Thank you for the update! I went to Wardrobe to try Night Mode. This feature will be very useful when I'm trying see something on the site and my eyes are tired (Night Mode) or not tired (Day Mode).
Oh! One more small thing I just wanted to point out, since a lot of people have requested it, I changed the filters on the Items page (in the wardrobe) to be visible by default instead of hidden <3

Ahh that's a bummer. Is this on a desktop/laptop or mobile device? (Apologies if you gave this info already and I missed it.) I want to think a bit harder if there are any workarounds, before we give up on this for you :( I still want you to be able to play in the wardrobe and everything!
