I've got some recommendations, but I can't think of any off the top of my head.

Well in no particular order here's some that are pretty good.

-That time I was reincarnated as a slime -Samurai champloo -My love story! -Yona of the Dawn -Sk8 the infinity -Gangsta (Read the manga if you can since the studio went under and barely finished a season, but man was it a good season) -Hinamatsuri -Horimiya

erased and death parade tie for me

Favorite of all time is Attack on Titan. It was the first anime I watched and actually enjoyed. From there, I was so hooked. I'm really behind on the newest season though.

Following closely behind is definitely Parasyte. Beautiful music, neat animation, creepy and disturbing moments, love the discussions of what it means to be human.... and Migi is so adorable. I'd love to find some people to talk about Parasyte with!

Some others I really love are Promised Neverland, Tokyo Ghoul, Deadman Wonderland, Castlevania, Hellsing Ultimate, Fullmetal Alchemist, Hunter x Hunter, One Punch Man...... there are so many.

Impossible to pick just one, but my top ones are Gangsta, Beastars, Trinity Blood, the whole Dragon Ball franchise, Naruto, Bleach, and The Ancient Magus Bride.

My all-time favorite anime series is probably Monster. It deals with a lot of heavy topics but it has refreshingly lighthearted moments to keep it from being totally depressing.

I love a lot of other shows as well, of course, like Haibane Renmei, Serial Experiments Lain, Madoka, Mushishi, Tatami Galaxy, Eureka Seven, Evangelion, Death Note, Plastic Memories, etc.

Favorite anime movie is Night on the Galactic Railroad.

I might be biased just because it was my first anime, but nothing has truly topped Death Note

I also have a deep soft spot for AnoHana but it's very different from death note lol Think slice of life meets depressed teenager haunted by his past

i absolutely cannot pick just one so ill give you five: naruto, fma, death parade, erased, and cardcaptor sakura!

Keep in mind I only watch English dubs because I'm not a native Japanese speaker. The English dub for School Rumble is really good and School Rumble happens to be my favorite anime of all time. I have no idea what the sub version is like and I think since a lot of anime fans only watch subs, from my understanding, they miss out on some good English dubbed animes like School Rumble.

FMA:Brotherhood and Lupin the 3rd: Part 2 Paranoia Agent is good too

Okay, if we’re going the movie route most Ghibli movies are my top pick, along with Tokyo Godfathers and Your Name. Series-wise, Evangelion and Fma Brotherhood are my top favorites.

for how often I think about this, it's shocking I don't have a single definitive answer - but my top five (not necessarily in order) are:

It would be difficult to list my favourites without filling the page, but for me those are the winners of all time.

Sailor Moon, Pokemon, Naruto, Attack on Titan, and Hipira.

Natsume's Book of Friends is my favorite anime. I also really like Aria (the animation, natural, origination) and Nodame Cantabile :)
