There only were around 500 users online not the 1000+ of an event. No battling, no floating items, no wardrobe hassle, no forum posting, other extras, nothing that happens during an event. Just the normal site usage of people questing - may be a bit more intensely.
The caching and hardware failure not "spinning up" has been mentioned as a culprit for various recent issues now?
I don't get it.

No event, just the blue message on top of the pages. "Thanks for sticking with us, we think we're out of the woods on lag. You can read more here! [Remove]"
I'm glad everything's running again, but there are a ton of people who couldn't complete quests yesterday because of it and are now completely out of the running for the Top 100 prize. I got a few quests done on my work breaks, and about 10 more once I got home from work, and then the site went down completely and I finally just had to go to bed so I could get up for work again today.
Are we just out of luck?

Weird, I never got that banner either! Maybe because I was offline for most of the day? Not sure. Still never got this group ping despite other group pings and personal pings showing up, not sure what went wrong here..
