I won't put myself under pressure with my pets and their stories/profiles etc so it just feels good to have so much room for ideas.

I only have two open pet slots yet - I got Odd and Even since I wrote this post, but yeah, I don't know what I'd do with other slots, at this point.

I want to get eight more so I'll be up to 40 and can get the achievement, but so many of my existing pets still need their stories written... I can't justify spending that much when I haven't finished the pets I already have!

Around five.

First pet: glacier blob. Basic idea: ceremony is being held and newspapers/event planners use the wrong picture.

Second pet: riftborn blob who doesn't wish to be mistaken for an obscure video game villain.

Third pet: nostalgic kumos who curses selfish people by turning them into stuffed animals.

Fourth pet: angel serpenth who causes mischief in movie theatres.

Fifth pet: angel zentu, once it comes out....

I would like three more slots for the sake of having an even 100. Otherwise I have about 20 pets I need to rename, so I won't be filling up new slots anytime soon. I will eventually get all of the new made available slots though.

More than filling up slots I'm interested in more pet color releases. I'd much rather bring over existing OCs than come up with something new.

the thing keeping me at bay, honestly, is that im slightly concerned about pet birthdays/ages, so I like having a few spots open so that I can pick up pets from the pound that might have a birthday I want or pick them up to zap/adopt out to friends

I would be surprised too. We're two weeks into the month with 0 content related to adventure beyond the monthly collection on day 1 so I would hardly call anything "centered around" adventure. (although a new reward card comes out today and there may be themed content there.) Nonetheless if they're going to do something big, I would start soon. 😔

Anyway as to not get entirely off topic, I'll reiterate that I need 1 slot right now. I could buy one from the MC but since I caught wind of the Q-A-T I've been waiting in limbo to see if I need to or not. (the same waiting I'm doing to see if I'm going to activate gold to line up with the Q-A-T.. have several renames to do still) But as a positive, I have submitted 4 custom overlays in the past week.

Right now I want one more slot so I can finally hit 40. There's only maybe 6 or 7 more pet color/species I really want in general but I have no ideas for them yet.

Ooof. Right now I have 13, all filled.

Ideally, I'd like to keep them in even increments and have 2 pets of each color.

I don't need any more slots, I have too many already. The old naming system made me somewhat of a hoarder, keeping pets just for the sake of a decent name. With the new system in place, I got rid of half of my pets, only keeping the ones I really like which I plan to read to and train. Not to say that I will never get a new pet, but for now I've set myself a limit of 16. Originally 12, but no one wanted to adopt Wilhelmine and I didn't want to toss her into the pound, so now I own the awkward number of 13 which look a little weird on my profile. Funny thing is, I've been on a hiatus and just returned to get my loyalty pet slot. Right after that I found out about the new naming system and therefore basically wasted my loyalty box this year, never even attempting to fill the slot :D

I need 2 more slots at the moment. I know I will need more in the future though, lol. I recently "rebranded" one of my older pets that I could never quite work out, and changed his name, species, color, and TC. You'd never know he was the same pet! So that at least saved me from buying yet another slot. They get expensive!
