I have no free pet slots. Why? Zapping pets to place back into the AC and instead getting attached to them. I now have four I need to decide what to do with. Even worse is yesterday the pet I grabbed out of the AC has the legacy name of one of my OCs.

AND YOU KNOW WHAT I'm salty at how many items have thumbnails that're completely different from the actual thing, I hate digging through my wardrobe and having to try on so many items individually just to see what they actually look like when I should be able to just scan the thumbnails!

Also a bit of salt at thumbnails that do show the item, but it looks different when you put it on, like - I love how it looks in the thumbnail, but the eye shape and shade are just different enough in the preview that I don't care for that version nearly as much.

And item naming can be such a pain - like if I'm looking for green eyes, searching "green" or "eyes" will always miss out on a bunch of items that fit under those parameters because their names don't include those terms. So then I have to go to the face category and look through every single item (running into the thumbnail problem again) just to find a few specific things.

On a different note, I wish there were sidebar notifications for bonus wizard quests and oracle quests. Missed a wizard quest because I had other notifications up and didn't see I had the buff till I got a sidebar notification for it running out (why only when it's gone??). And I just got a random event informing me that I'm already apparently on an oracle quest? Who knows when I first got that one... Sad I missed out on what should have been another quest.

The constant cloudflare authorization pages when trying to log in. I always click remember me, but without a doubt the next day I go to open subeta theres another cloudflare "gotta make sure youre human!" page that takes 10 minutes to load.

It's not just the AP gouging that's getting more frequent.

While I'm questing for an item, I'll notice that a user has clearly purchased all the items in user shops to run the price up. Item cost is like 45,000 in user shops and there's like, 300 in stock in their shop at the top of the list.

So I buy the item. My reward? 23,000 SP lol. (The item's value in the system is clearly like 1500 sp)

I realize this has always been going on. But it's at the point now that I'm losing SP when I quest. Kinda silly.

yeah, I made the mistake of APing since my GA is going to run out soon and the cash back is abysmal. making more money doing quests than selling anything I feel self conscious bc I do BQs daily so I have a lot of built up junk items

Not at all! I think it's pretty clear when someone has junk items built up organically, and when someone inflates a price artificially.

Btw, I also don't have an issue with people who buy out user shops in small amounts-- like those who have 100 in stock of an item that costs 12,000 SP(that's not what im talking about)

I'm complaining about user behaviour that goes overboard --I believe there are players who target an item that is/was worth 2,000 SP and they inflate it to like 60,000 SP with a "Mundane" (30) rarity. I am so curious what the recent price would have been had I hovered over it. Like you know someone just bought 100s of items from shops to make it more expensive, but that messes with quest prizes.

[Edit] Haven't had enough caffeine for this, but it seems there is some contention about undercutting recently, and people who think they're being helpful by "fixing undercut items to their correct price." IDK if that's related here and that someone who believed they were fixing a dip in the price actually ended up inflating it. (but yk, 60k SP is not the correct price for a mundane junk item)

I'm one of those people getting quite fed up with the severe undercutting and potential autopricer-scamming, and am quite well aware of the fact that mundane junk items shouldn't be priced at 60k. We're talking about like super rares that definitely should go for ~70k typically, being priced at like 1k. Usually there will only be one of those low-priced items in the instigating shop and then perhaps a few more shops in the list with one or two items at that price because they inadvertently autopriced based on that one item. If someone is paying enough attention to the market to recognize that this undercutting is a problem, they're probably going to be familiar enough with rarities and typical prices to not make that mistake. What you're seeing is just hoarding and artificially inflating the price, it's a different issue.

I'd also like to point out that I've talked to the owner of one of the underpricing shops and they really just thought they were being nice and offering great deals; they weren't aware that they were affecting autopricers like that. So it can be and probably usually is done with no malicious intent. But it also appears that some users may price an item super low sort of as bait, wait for others to autoprice based on it, and then snap up all the underpriced items to turn around and sell at the typical price for a profit. It's really hard for us as users to tell for sure when we think we see this happen (just because someone bought your item that you accidentally autopriced too cheap doesn't mean they set the price low to begin with) but staff have more resources to evaluate patterns so I'm sure they could see it if certain users repeatedly do this. They just haven't decided how to go about handling it yet.

Thanks for the reply Synth. I read the thread in Feedback about this. The lack of malicious intent with the underpricers was my point. I hypothesized the increasing over-pricing is due to the same way of thinking.(I'm willing to entertain that maybe there are people who aren't paying attention to the rarity, who have been caught up in the enthusiastic process of "helping get prices up.")

I realize now that I'm probably over-complicating simple hoarding, as you say. 😏

People bringing down the cost of items that sell for a good price and are popular like amulet's. Just sell it for the lowest price and if you recently did it yours' will show up first, selling it for 2-3k lower each time doesn't help. I know it's a silly pet peeve of mine with amulet's since they help with my shop profits and I'm trying to hit the 1 billion mark. :')

I really wish the autopricer came with an alert for items that have decreased in price by over a certain percentage.

I have over 1,500k+ items in my shop; I can’t hand price. But there was a high ticket item that was priced at a 90% mark down and I didn’t catch it until it sold :/ When I checked shop search, there were about 4 others marked the same and it was clear someone had hand-priced but left off a zero and the rest of us had gotten screwed by the autopricer. An alert for items like that would stop this issue.

But no worries. Now I have a 15 second cooldown when buying more than 7 items at a time from user shop. Oh boy, problem definitely solved.
