Mardi Gras, or "Faschingsdienstag", is a widely celebrated holiday in my region in Germany. Like all the other days of "Fasching" or the German Carnival, it's all about dressing up in your fav costume and having fun. (well there was a religions meaning to it at some point, but these days it's rather commercial like most other holidays, too)
so this year my HA is dressing up as Scout Finch from To Kill a Mockingbird in her famous Ham costume scene. And my Chai-friend is going as a Donadak. (my Donadak was actually a Chai when I adopted him, morphed him into a Donadak though, cause I found it more suiting for the character he refers to). ♥
