The word janitor comes from Janus, the two-faced Roman god of beginnings and ends and (through metaphor) doors and passageways. It was originally applied to gate/door-keepers, but the definition expanded as time passed to include caretakers of buildings!

In Maadi, Egypt the Cairo American College which is a school for International students for International government workers from K-12. The graduating Senior class gets to hold their high school graduate in front of the Sphinx and the Giza Pryramids. Fun part the graduating seniors class picture is taken while the Seniors are standing on one of the main pyramids of Giza. This event only happens with this school, no other have been allowed to do this. My son got to do this in 2004.
