Which languages do you speak?

My personal answer: Fluently only German an English. I've learned a few more languages over the years but right now I'm only actively working on my Chinese.

Which languages do you speak? German and English (more or less fluent), some Spanish, a few words and phrases in French and enough Italian, Dutch, Norwegian and Swedish to get me in jail. fist pump

Also, I don't speak it but I understand Swiss-German with ease even though I have never been even close to Switzerland.

I really would love to learn Russian, Finnish and Sicilian though...OH AND KLINGON OF COURSE! <3

I am only fluent in English. I really want to learn French though. I took French classes and college and really enjoyed them.

I’m fluent in English. I minored in Russian in college so I know a bit. I know tiiiny amounts of Greek and like 5 words of Chinese from my grandparents. A little bit of Spanish. And I took one elementary Norwegian class once for fun but I don’t think I remember one word beside Hej, and lefse 😂

Right now I can only speak English, but I know a little bit of Spanish (Enough to order a dessert drink thing that I love), some French that I remember from High School, and I'm currently learning Norwegian - albeit slowly, and some of the words I say I get completely wrong much to the amusement of my Boyfriend!

And, for my answer today - My primary language is English, but I have some Telugu (an Indian language) and Spanish :)

English, Español, some Russkii...and silence. I'd like to learn ASL to use it as an excuse to not talk to anyone.

I think this one took place in the same rooms than the teddy bear events. :-)

For language, naturally German and English, a good amount of Spain, a little bit French and very basic Hawaiian.

Well I'm Polish so I'm fluent in Polish, also English and German. I've dabbled in French, Spanish and Japanese but I find it hard to focus on studying one language at a time because when I get the urge to learn, I want to learn everythiiiiiiing.

Fluently English. I currently know enough Turkish to come off as a slightly prepared tourist and am in the beginning stages of learning Spanish.

I've got a list of languages to start on after I get a better grasp of Spanish.

On the day, not so much. However, tomorrow my belated bday gift is two days of pure quiet as there will be no one else in my house.

Just English. I know a small amount of Spanish, but not enough to even be conversational, though probably enough to ask for directions.

I only speak fluent English.

I know very little French and German.

Easy Answer: I don't! Long Answer: The last thing I owned was a Blue Orchid... that... didn't last long... oops.

None. Just fake flowers. But they are my grandmother's.

Oh boy, I seem to have become a little obsessed with plants since spring hit so....

Inside: Orchids, Various Cacti & Wheat Grass (Bamboo & Bromeliad will be added soon) I have to introduce house plants slowly because Patchit is a plant killer (seriously, this cat ate a cactus, like the WHOLE thing). To compensate for this I've gone a bit crazy outside.

Outside: Various Ferns, Flowering Dipladenia, Dipladenia Shrubs, Japanese Maple, French Ivy, Tiger Lilys, Gladiolas, Iris, Tulips, Pear Trees, Rose of Sharon, Various Succulents, Perwinkle, Dragon's Blood, Dragon's Breath, Lavendar, Begonia, Hibiscus, Bleeding Heart, Morning Glory, Christmas Cactus, Persian Shield, Various Hostas, & Purple Heart.

I'm working out more garden beds for fall & winter, building some window boxes for tea & herb gardens, figuring out what fruits & veggies I'd like to start growing, working out the logistics of turning my garage into a plant house and planning to add a water garden to the mix in the future.

Cactus patches, shade trees, mulberry, and some potted flowering plants. We have a whole lot of a fruiting tree, but I don't know what its called to search an English translation.

Oh, I'm taking some time off Subeta to focus on my next semester and new job. I started a week ago when my GA expired, I'll be sporadically coming and resuming around Luminaire.

orchids are SO hard to care for. they are really finicky. i got my mom an orchid a few years running and she would kill them in a matter of weeks. i finally gave up and got her a loquat tree for mother's day (holy shit that was expensive) and she talks to it and waters it every day. 😂 we live in a very shaded house that doesn't get much sun, so that may be why.

pics of plants and cactus-eating cat??? my cat loves to bite leaves. not eat, just chew. he doesn't like cat grass, only ficus plants will do lmao.

-- today's q: many succulents. we have two massive aloe plants that i just recently trimmed a bunch of babies off of. i also own some really cool plants, like a monstera leaf, an air plant (idk how to care for it, i just got it two days ago), and a bunch of tomato plants and a big rosemary bush.

I see orchids, cacti, ivy and some random plant with green leaves, I don't know what it is.
