~Thank you :) yes..it is.. and he's mailed my new data strorage device out to me today, so I'll get it in a few days..this also means I have a backup of all that data on there.

I'm so glad they were able to retrieve everything! I accidentally broke my dad's external hard drive as a teen and we lost five years of photos including the only vacation photos of my family's trip to Germany. I couldn't imagine losing 20 yrs of stuff. So happy for you!

Oh yes...it was...scary...now it's on it's way back to me...and I am so relieved...maybe this should be impetus to finish one of those books I have been writing since ...2000. LOL but yes it means all my photos and my writing, and CW stuff is saved..and I literally cried.. OOhf..that's rough...shame about the vacation photos. They're getting good at retrieving stuff off of broken media. there was a diode that'd come loose off the circuitboard in the hard drive. That made it fail....well that and a terrible Windows update. =_=
