loving the recipes though i cant use most of them,

I make a slightly different bbq sauce, using tom puree, dark soy sauce, vingear, sugar and ginger. also make our own sweet and sour sauce,

but i often make a béchamel sauce, as it goes in my lasagna, pasta bake and cauli cheese cooks

I saw there are vegan cauliflower bechamel recipes on the internet, its just a matter of which one you would like. I am so glad you understood smailing 5 am maybe not always be clear from me. LOL But I was inspired, to do it. I reasoned with myself, well I said tomorrow. I looked at the clock well it is tomorrow so let me get it done. Oh nice you use the bechamel sauce for so many different dishes.

Hi! I'll teach you a Brazilian snack, very easy to make. No oven, no cooling, just as our natives used to make. Well, except for the refined sugar, salt and food processor but you know what I mean.

500 grams of peanuts, no skin 2 cups of sugar Half a cup of yellow corn flour (not cornstarch) half a teaspoon of salt

Mix everything but the peanuts with a spoon. Put the peanuts in a food processor and blend it until it turns into a paste (but don't use peanut butter instead!), then add the rest of the ingredients and mix it until it turns into a homogeneous paste.

Then you put it in the smallest cookie cutter you have, to give it shape, you can use ice trays too. Press it really hard. It's supposed to be the size of a quarter in width.

The result is a peanut cube or wine cork, basically. It's one of my favorite things from childhood.

I don't know how common is yellow corn flour outside of Brazil, but it the recipe works just as fine without it. Just go easier on the sugar and salt.

I don't know how descriptive I was so you can ask anything haha :D

My tribe came from Germany decades ago. This recipe was given to Weldon by Mr. Lungwort the cook here at Healer's Hall. Welly makes it for Oktoberfest and Yule.

German Potato Pancakes

Yield is about 8-10 pancakes, depending on size.

Ingredients

2 lbs starchy (Russet) potatoes 2 eggs 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper 1 tsp nutmeg 1 tbsp corn starch or flour cooking oil for pan frying

Instructions

Peel and coarsely grate the potatoes. Drain well for 10-15 minutes. Press to help squeeze out all the water. Move the drained potatoes to the side and discard the liquid. Beat the eggs with the salt, pepper, nutmeg and corn starch/, flour then add to the potatoes. Heat 1/4 cup of cooking oil in a frying pan over medium to medium-high heat. When hot, add a large spoonful of potato egg mixture to the oil and flatten it out using the spoon. Do not overcrowd the pan.

Fry until each side is golden and crispy, about 4 minutes per side. Drain the cooked potato pancakes on paper towels before serving. Serve while still hot with apple sauce or sour cream as a dip.

Yes, I am a role-playing character, but I don’t bite (much.)

Had an accidental recipe discovery the other day. I mistakenly bought a super hot habanero pepper instead of a much milder jalapeno pepper for my "In-A-Rush" meat sauce. I had to add a bunch of sugar and red wine to cut the burn, and ended up loving the result! Spicy Sweet Meat Sauce So you'll need; 1 large jar of generic pre-made spaghetti sauce 1 pound ground meat or meat substitute. 1 habanero pepper diced (wear gloves when handling) 1 sweet yellow pepper chopped (bell or banana pepper are both good) 1/2 cup chopped onion 1 cup sliced mushrooms 1/2 cup sugar 1 cup dry red wine

Brown meat and onion in a large skillet. Add peppers and mushrooms and cook together 5 to 7 minutes. Add entire jar of sauce and sugar. Simmer on low heat for 30 to 40 minutes. add wine and simmer another hour. taste and add more wine if needed.

Best served over Kings Hawaiian sweet rolls
