I've always loved birthdays :) I remember one year as a kid on my birthday I invited a few friends over and we had a berry picking contest (we had raspberry bushes in our yard) and a bbq, and got to swim in the pool. Well my friends and I wanted to try and "jump in" the pool cause it was small but not like too small, so I went in first and I made it over but one of my friends slid when she tried to jump in and her face bounced off the side of the pool before she fell. It was hilarious to see and she was even laughing xD

I offered on the lots that I knew (or at least felt like I could guess) the answers to. Some of those are tough! Maybe I should have paid more attention in primary school, lol.

Birthday story: My funny birthday story is that I was in college and my best friend was still in high school. I went home for the weekend to celebrate and she came over and decided she wanted to help my dad make my birthday cake. He was almost done so he told her she could get the frosting and sprinkles to decorate. She asked what colors and he said "whatever is in there, whatever you like" so she got out green sprinkles and frosted and poured them all over the cake. When we all go to eat the cake, we take a bite and all immediately gag. She didn't read the bottle and the green sprinkles were apple flavored! It was a sickly, fake apple flavor all over chocolate cake with buttercream icing. She had really laid it on! Most of us scraped our icing off, ate the cake and laughed it off. She, however, refused to eat it and still gets upset about the whole thing to this day.

Does my b-day story have to be about MY birthday? So when I was about...15 I think...we had a birthday party for my mom. I spent like a day and a half on her cake, it was HUGE and covered in hand-made yellow roses (her name and fave flower) for her party with my dad, little brother, sister, brother in law, and my niece & nephew. My mom was in her 50's for this birthday, and we had the appropriate amount of candles to burn down our house if not careful lol. So everyone showed up, my mom went to blow out her candles. Now here is something most people didn't know about my mom...she had dentures. Top & bottom. Suffice to say, when she went to blow out her candles she also spite her top teeth ONTO the cake. Candles got blown out but my nephew has NEVER been the same. He found out about dentures that day and has been scarred for life ever since.

Edit for a story: I cant recall which birthday it was 2? 3? 4? years old I cant recall what she has told me. My mom made me a cookie monster cake and added the whole thing of food coloring to make it blue. Needless to say there was blue frosting EVERYWHERE when I grabbed a handful and smeared it all over my face, hair ( i was light blonde as a kiddo) and carpet/table/ highchair (also white). I even managed to get it across the room on the wall somehow xD I saw pics once I wish I knew where they were... LOL
