I am doing better, but would really like to be done with healing process. friday they take out the 2 drains, but when they take out all the staples (about 25 staples in foot long incision) i dont know. I spend most my time sleepy from pain and pain meds. Things seem to be one long sleepy blur.

I know I read the news article and got so excited for Laurie and her tribe. I wish this judge could have made this decision sooner, before Laurie, her tribe and tribal lands were harassed by the government.

I sincerely hope so, their land is the land of where their ancestors are buried. This has strong meaning of family and tribe, not to be destroyed to put money in an oil corporation's pockets. Hopefully negative attention to the oil corporation effects their bottom dollar and they move on. They could improve their public image if they fixed their damage, and help with the tribal economic recovery too.

recouping is what u should be doing then u have had so many surgeries in the last two years I don't know what u r recovering from this time

I know its a blur for me, too. I had 2 huge hematomas on my right leg, they did surgery a week ago from yesterday. That originally started in the army. Which I didnt know until October that the original issue was a hematoma, since 1982 I thought it was internal scar tissue from initial injury. I got reinjured the same area, and it filled up with a lot of fluid. Dr has been monitoring with all kinds of test since October, they didnt absolve. So dr finally decided on surgery, my whole leg has bothered me in some form since October. My 4 surgery since March 2019, all have been medically necessary, a lot of painful and recovery, but i am grateful they were done. Thanks I am trying to be patient, but I am not one for sitting around. But have to, I need to recoup and move on.
