I have a cat and i am a full-time can opener, a construction site in front of the door that tries to break records in the Guinnes book of noise every day for 8 hours and I am also a passionate DIY - new experience - collector, is little time to read and when I am in the evening bed time and rest, I only ever get the first sentence out of the book before my eyes close ... so if someone asks me how a book is; no idea, I only managed the first sentence and didn't even understand

I am surprised that there is any construction going on. But then I lived in Germany, and the communities like a clean nice environment that includes the buildings, empty land, and roads. Which I so appreciated when I lived there. I went to UAE United arab of emirates, and they like it the same way where ever you look like Germany. I love crocheting! I found Germany has very good yarn. I wish, I could fall to sleep that fast I am so jealous.

the construction work did not stop, not even during all the restrictions, everything without masks and distance ... you are jealous? I am happy if I can sleep through the night for 4 hours, but as soon as my eyes are closed, the head cinema starts and you are tired during the day, so no reason to be jealous ;) I wish I could only sleep once as long as mine cat that easily manages 18 hours ... :) :)

no distancing and no masks that is crazy, no thank you. My husband sleeps like you a short time, I am lucky if I get 6 hours. I have to mute my mobile, always calls that aren’t important or not from family and friends. Calls to sell you things or wanting you to make a survey, you can say no thank you and they keep talking. I just hang up on them/stop the Phone call.

I was going to remark that your mask reminds me that the virus seems to be on the rise here again :( but your story is so fun I am totally chuckling (except for the beating part 😢 but that's what parents did back then). So cool that your son pranks you back! I am the youngest of 4. My oldest sister was married and out of the house by the time I was 4 but the two in between, brother and sister 2.5 years apart and 10 & 7.5 years older than I were my second pair of parents. When they weren't enforcing the rules, they were covering my eyes so I wouldn't see the scary parts, and on the rare occasion I did get away unsupervised, our dog would sit near my hiding place to "keep me safe" she said, but I think she was tattling. The brown noser! (Literally. Her nose was brown). ;)

Still here! I am actually online a bit more than usual because I am home 24/7 now. I've been laid off for almost 3 months now.. Settling in to it I guess. Going back to work will be a strange feeling I think. I do still work, but not for my day job. I am an artist/illustrator so I have much more time to paint! I don't feel stressed yet - which amazes me - but I do find myself more depressed than usual (not surprised there). My S.O. has a good job, so we're doing OK. The cats keep me sane at home all day. I worry about when the unemployment assistance runs out, but I think it will last long enough to get back to work.
