My hubby was stationed in Germany, when they tore the Berlin wall down. An east german family became our neighbors, they were discovering the world of no rationing on any items. The smallest thing got their interest, it was fun to be with them. i was the first american in their home, and that idea made them so happy.

I love to climb trees I'm to old for that now we'll sometimes depends on how strong the tree is .... Climbing trees lol that's child play compared to some more of the dangerous stuff I have done ...I swear to u back a long time ago I wasn't like I am now very passive unless provoked well like I said I have done horrible thing from the time I was about 14 until around 22 or 23 ... Ok this is how horrible I was I tried to burn the school down when I was 12 first we broke in then thought it would be funny to burn it down so we tried fire department came and secured the area but after they left we broke in again we decided not burn it down we just used it as our club house for a couple of years ... The school was no longer being used and we broke in through the boiler room door .........but later we tried to burn it down again this time from the outside ....that is story for another day ....no no no that's it for the night ....

Anyone who reads this post before u start your day or going to bed take a look and I mean a long good look at yourself in the mirror and point right at yourself and say "I will b a better person today then yesterday and tomorrow I will be better then I was today... And when u say that and you truly believe it ... Don't just say it ...live it ...I know we all r having tuff tuff times but u have to do this everyday it's a repeating cycle then when your pushed to your limits will not only make u stronger in body, mind, and spirit it will make u into a better person when u live to your potential and not how people perceive u if someone is being hateful and rude kill them with kindness ....it pays to kind to others the more rude someone is the happier I try to make them feel trying to get someone to smile such as a cashier at the gas station who looks like she could use laugh make a joke ....I guess what I'm trying to say is let's all just be HUMANS and treat others how u would want to be treated I'm sorry but in my opinion my life and your life r the same we are equals ...let's just end it all .... LAUNCH THE NUKES .....start over from scratch.. I love u all

Lol my mom my mom I love her ...I was always in trouble mostly for not coming home when I supposed to be home ....but after awhile my parents weren't able to keep me home like I said I was a horrible teenager

only through basic and AIT after I got to my unit, not so much never got an article 15 most of the time I would act like nothing was going on lol

I cannot "one-up" your stories, but I've been the source of many of my Mama's and Papa's grey whiskers. I was the last of their large family, my oldest brother was married long before I came around. Consequently, their 'little surprise" had a lot more kinetic energy than they were able to keep up with. I was up before dawn, gave a perfunctory effort at my chores, swiped a cheese, a half a loaf of bread and a sausage and out the door before the sun had cleared the mountains. Fishing, exploring, picking on the neighbor boys, climbing trees (I was the only creature in our woods who managed to climb all the way to the top of the General Nathaniel Greene Tree, 308 feet. I'm also the only creature to have fallen out of it from that height, but I didn't hit every branch on the way down. I made it down safely, with only three cracked ribs. I didn't get a whooping that day.) and swiping fruit and vegetables from the neighboring farms, orchards, vineyards and market gardens. I usually headed home a filthy dirty mess, you couldn't see a spot of white fur on any part of my body. I was frequently naked, having lost articles of clothing that got snagged on a root, forgotten, or swept away down the creek. Neighbors just shook their heads and muttered about that poor naked little urchin what's been seen around the neighborhood begging for scraps again.

News travels fast in our village and usually proceeded me by the time I got home after sundown. After my nightly whooping, bath time, bread and water for dinner and bed time were usually spent in tears, contrition, hugs and prayers. Mama and Papa would plead with me to stop being impulsive. But in the morning at first twilight, there were new adventures to discover and the cycle repeated.

But I never tried to burn the school down....intentionally. But that is a story for later.

Being a wild child had its perks. But I can't remember what they were at this moment.
