Hey guys! I know I don't use the hashtag very often, but I was curious if any of the older bears knew Why we call ourselves 'bears' when that's not part of the group name? How did that get started? Is there some cute/funny/sweet/maybe not-so-much story to it? Thank you!

i thought the group name is lairbears. Laurs stands for laurie's i think, Laurie is the group owner

Yay! Her legacy name is nice. I'm probably going to adopt a pet with a legacy name that I like with the slot from quest-a-thon.

Also, we've nearly reached 500k quests!

Last pet goal I reached was getting a pet with a Pokemon legacy name.

I'm happy with how she turned out. Waiting for Keelhauliday so I can snag the final TC items for her!

Personally, I wouldn't mind adopting a pet with a bizarre legacy name.

I to assume laurs came from Laurie's name, since she started the group. I have always assume the bear, could have been a totem for Laurie relating to her culture of the Lakota Sioux.

If my sons said, they were bored. I told them go read a book, clean your room, play some board games and go outside and play. In another words get busy, or I will find something they need to do.

that is right..they never thought of it as i threat..they just knew to find something in there ..whole playroom..computers, swim pool etc...now how different it seems for all facets of life these days..

kids cant meet in bars or go danceiing anyway the questing does make my mind stop races into and onto these different conflicting things in my mind 'ddddddd

Lol we are called lair bears cuz it sounds like care bears and we all take care of each other in the lair ... made the lair forum cuz there were a bunch of us bears we were always trying to find each other or help with events so Ms. Funshine aka Laurie made this thread which has been going on for a while before these threads limited to 5000 we had 1 thread that closed after 50k post and then another with almost another 20k post before we started these 5k post then make a new thread and that is also y we have V6 and so forth ... Laurie is also the one that held us all together and damn do we miss her and a lot of the other bears that don't come by to much any more ...I hope this helps with your ????'s about the lair
