AeriaLure did the original LairBear, and I had no idea this was now the "old" one. However, I commissioned the item and I will keep them in my shop as long as the bears want one. It's still limited Bears, and will remain, but it's unlimited, so it can be refilled.

The news here at Glen Meadow is mundane as ever. It seems that Cal Fire has gained a paw-hold on the big fires near Livermore and Lake Berryessa and that the air currents have shifted some so that we aren't getting as much smoke here in the foothills as we were a few days ago. It's still hot, 100+ temps predicted for the next week, but it's nothing we haven't seen before. Thank the Maker, there aren't any fires in our neck of the woods.

The Healer's Hall Annual Picnic was a rousing success with over 300 wee creatures and their offspring partaking of great food, fabulous drink, fun games, and swimming in the creek. After the Ice Cream Contest ( Weldon took Third Place with his fresh strawberry gelato ), there was popcorn and apples, cheese, Zweibelfladen, Bratwurst and Buletten, to accompany the singing and dancing into the wee hours of the night. The Perseid meteorites gave us our fireworks and sleeping out under the stars after a night of dancing and drinking made for a very romantic setting.

Thankfully, our caseload here at Healer's Hall is down, summers in the past usually have seen a increased injuries and sicknesses due to the long work days and increased heat. But in the years since the war and after most of the reconstruction has been accomplished, life here has settled down and routine has become a blessing in so many ways.

Well that's the news from Glen Meadow, where all the girl animals are cute and all the male animals still smell like they need another bath.

Weather is improving still winter tho and alas to say no fishing for 2 reasons 1, the weather is unkind and 2. no travel is allowed due to the virus.

I like to make sure all bears/members can communicate freely and not let there be a language barrier. I lived in Germany about 4 years in the 1980s. I was in Germany when the Berlin Wall was taken down. Lucky me, I have a German bakery a few streets from my house here in Texas. I don’t usually but they want her tribe to be quiet, and let the oil company do what they may. Even if it means destroying the land, water they put oil pipes under a main water source on the reservation. I hate to imagine what it’s done to humans and wildlife.

Afraid that the first lockdown ended too early so the cases grew again. The numbers are on the way down again now and hopefully we will have it under control. Be wonderful to go fishing with you and Welly but wait till the mail is back to normal the delays are dreadful here at the moment.

It's so good to be back. My mother got really sick last summer and finally passed in November. Losing so many family members, Mom, Dad and my sister, and taking care of them all has taken a heavy toll on me. I am working with a therapist to deal with the depression and grieving and taking anti depressants to get me on a more even keel. I'm not 100% yet and so will try to get online as much as possible. Thank you all for all the Vesnali coins, gifts and candy hearts. Reading through my comments, I am humbled that so many of you contacted me. I haven't been on Facebook or anything on my computer in so long. My daughter and sister let me know that y'all had been trying to get in touch. I have missed all of you! ❤
