I'm relieved to see Subeta is behaving itself again - that was a pretty scary stretch there 🙀 I hope the staff learned some lessons from this - especially regarding transparency - and that by the time Vesnali rolls around, everything will be patched up.

I hope everyone is doing okay in voluntary-isolation. It's not a hardship for me, as I only leave the house once or twice in a regular week, but I know some are very restless.

Do you still work at a library . Ours is closed so have to order on-line and they will get them to us. Our son got to his library the last day it was open. He said he didn't know why people were worrying about toilet paper. He just HAD to get stocked up on books if he couldn't work. 😄

Thank you to everyone who danced with me for Masq ❤️ I saw quite a few of your names and really appreciate it since I pretty much had to skip the holiday this year :( I was only able to accept dances every few days but did get in another round last night so I hope everyone got their trinkets!

I do still work at the library :) I'm actually technically working from home right now. For the first week after we closed to the public, the staff would still come in and do behind-the-scenes tasks and answer questions over the phone, but now only the director and the department heads physically go in.

The libraries in my state never did curbside pickup or physical delivery, instead we're heavily promoting our e-book and e-audiobook collections and converting as many of our programs to virtual versions as we can. It's certainly not the same, though. The e-book collection is sparse compared to the physical collection, and a large portion of our patrons don't have computer access at home. I do wonder about how some of my regulars are doing and hope they're okay.

Your son's priorities bring a smile to my face :) We closed quite suddenly - even I didn't know until the night before! Luckily for me, I always have more books checked out than I can humanly read in a month. I'd like to say I'm blazing through them, but it's actually been pretty hard to just sit down and focus, so I've only finished a couple so far.

Oh, I agree with you . There is nothing like having a book in your hands. I have to get large print now and some of them are pretty big to hold. We have a nook reader. Bruce used it longer than I did but eventually he quit too. Betsy got me to try books read to me on line but I didn't enjoy that either. There is a library in my building. I think I just found the last large print book there. When this thing is over our librarian will be back to bring us books. I'll appreciate her even more than I did before.
