I hope so too, though Bonus Weekend brought back a background I wanted to use, so that was good. The closer to the usual time it gets, the more dragged out waiting seems.

Also, I'm wondering what this excitement Keith mentioned will be. Maybe some extra activities to do during the event? Or maybe he was talking about the new wardrobe?

EDIT: Well a comment from Amber here says that apparently it won't start until "next week." I'm hoping that means Monday because that's the 23rd and it started on the 23rd in 2017 and 2018. Unless the RL issues with the artists that delayed Survival are affecting this too.

As impatient as I'm getting, it's still not technically late. refreshing directory

Oh, my mistake, I had no idea it's started later than the 24th before (though to be fair one of them was before I joined, and the other was my first year here and I've lost a lot of memories from my first five years here). I'm trying not to refresh the directory too often but yes, I guess with most of us having to stay in, we're even more impatient than usual this year. We just want something to keep us busy and distracted.

I don't think it's starting today now, I think there'd be new items appearing already if it was. Although I do feel frustrated because you'd think they would start it sooner rather than later with what's been going on right now, or at least build up more hype for it.

Really wish it was today.... I'm bored and also curious for the new items!!!!

I'm sure ready for SOMETHING. Anything at this point. This is the perfect time to have an event and get interest in Subeta up, and it's being wasted.

TBH, I agree. I know it's not easy to spin up events in the random event of a worldwide pandemic, but this is something that happens around this time each year. The timing was there.

I'm trying to be patient, but my heart aches with the waiting.

With the quarantine, this year's Masquerade should be packed with activity (for better or worse, I'm getting ready for regular server crashes the first day or so). It's exciting.

I hope it's soon (though the site's probably going to explode given that most people are stuck at home right now, lol). At least there's Animal Crossing until then.

Items are being added now, so it should be starting today. Maybe if we're lucky it will be a morning start (they said they wouldn't start it at midnight but they didn't say they wouldn't start it in the morning).
