Not sure if it’s been mentioned but I immediately thought of those plushies that have flags with different phrases on them (“thank you”, “congratulations”, etc.). I don’t know if it would be appropriate but maybe something like that with “miss you” as well?

I support this as well, And couldn't have said it better!

NOTE: CWDesigners--if anyone will make a little companion for me (much like my Lair Bear, or another cuddly little animal) as a general "Miss You" item, I will pay for your commission. How about it , want to "bear" with me again?.

Or , , , or you other wonderful people who are still around? Just message or comment!

PS I also loved and miss Marreshaann. And Wolfie Mine, who was like a sister, and who left us before memorials were possible. tears

There are a few generic "memory" type items that could be used in this way, but I'd certainly support something more specific to 'memory/remembrance of a friend' or 'memory of a lost loved one'. Especially since most of the existing ones are somewhat limited items in one way or another.

(reads more like a lost pet to me but a more general/non-ash specific similar item would be really nice)

A few cool traditions/ideas that might make good items in addition to some more standard fare: Cairns - There are more modern ones people often make as temporary tributes that are smaller. Memory Bears/Pillows - Commonly made from a favorite piece of clothing from a loved one. The traditionally Jewish practice of leaving stones on a visited grave has some really beautiful symbolism. I understand Subeta might not want to copy a real-world culture directly of course, but something taking light inspiration from it could possibly work.

More abstract ideas could also work and might be easier to address the friend vs loved one level. A puzzle missing a piece. "Last Conversation" something like a folded note and a message about how it's cherished. I'd love to see electronic conversation represented but not sure how smooth it would be to pull off. "Lost Touch" could be anything from something similar to to just a nature scene, but reminiscing on people you've lost touch with for whatever reason so that it is more versatile.

How about an answering machine with a last message from that person still on it, never erased?

A long lock of hair, cut before chemotherapy made them all lose their sheen and then fall out, preserved between glass?

'ello friend, can I take a moment to say I friggin' LOVE both of these.

A long lock of hair, cut before chemotherapy made them all lose their sheen and then fall out, preserved between glass? YES PLEASE.

I'm not sure how many artists/mods are around with the Covid-19 shutting down everything everywhere but if / when ya'll stop to look at this please take our suggestions seriously.

Oh what about those arrangements of flowers they sell for funerals? Like the wreath things, with a description about remembering a loved one

I'd really enjoy something like this, maybe set up like the sticker gallery. My friend passed away years back, so it's a feature I'd really like to use.
