I live in the US and my area has been greatly affected by the pandemic. Everything that is not life sustaining is shut down. My university canceled in-person classes for the rest of the semester so we're starting up online on Monday. I work at my university as well but luckily, I'm able to work from home. How about you?

i'm in the US also- Ohio, i'm originally from NY Same here-almost, everything is pretty much shut down. They won't allow me to work from home because i'm considered "essential" I work in the hospital here but off campus. I do medical billing and it's the ONLY way the hospital and doctors get paid, so if all the billing dept went home the hospital I guess would crumble ? lol they said the VPN servers could not support everyone going home to work- it would crash the whole system

Ah, we're state neigbors--I'm from PA. Ugh, it has been a pain with all of the shutdowns, but I'm glad that we're doing something to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Yikes, I've been worried about things crashing here too with everyone working/attending class online. I hope work goes smoothly for you during this time. Take care of yourself and stay safe!
