Sorry for the million questions. It's been awhile since I've commissioned something. Would you rather draw what I would call an aquatic dragon, for which I have a good reference, or a black dragon? I'll get you some texture references either way.

Alright, here's the coral dragon. Also, I said I was interested in an overlay, but I'm more flexible on the size. Also, if you could make some of the scales more translucent/shiny I would really like that. Thanks. Main ref, coral texture at parts
i will do my best! but because of the style of my overlays and the fact that they're relatively small i'm not sure any texture will really come across. if that's okay with you, it'll probably be $40!
