Not sure how to describe it, but I've been seeing this behavior in a few shops since the Free Shop fixes were put into place. It's happening consistently with the Plushie Shop, and I've seen it happen once or twice with the Beanbag shop and i THINK once with the Food Market that I'm aware of. Basically once the Shop gets too full with items, it cuts off the last few items from showing. You can still find & purchase them via the 'search shops' function, but they simply do not 'show' in the store itself. Not until someone buys enough items that it empties the store enough that the overflow items start showing up again. Maybe it's time to start retiring older plushies if this means that the plushie shop in particular has way too much inventory in rotation to show it all anymore?

This is because we put a limit on how much the Free Shop shows at once, and it looks like this limit erroneously affected all shops. I will fix this, thank you for bringing it to our attention. :)

Thank you! I figured it had to do with the Free Shop fix since it started right at that time!

EDIT - Just saw this on the top of the page when the plushie parlor restocked right now (4:25ish). Not sure if this is a glitch or some of the behind-the-scenes coding that suddenly became visible as part of the fix? Was in a Black box at the top of the screen - . "^ "Deleted items, shop was 408 full""

^ "Deleted items, shop was 406 full"

This occurred at Bean Me Up just now. I'm assuming it's related.

Whoops!! That was a statement I put in there while debugging. I've gone ahead and taken that out now!

Basically, the shops were getting a bit too full sometimes - full enough that they weren't even able to show all of the hundreds of items - so I have put some code to check when they get too full and just clear some random items when that happens. So the overflow problem should also no longer happen here.

(I could have also "fixed" this by allowing the shops to show ALL their items, but... as we saw with the Free Shop, we have to put a limit on this, because when you have a single webpage show like 1000 items at once, it might crash instead of loading them all.)

Thanks for letting us know! I was worried it was removing the newest items, which would make it hard to complete collections. Removing random items seems like a good idea. I know the Plushie Parlour used to get tricky for some of my devices to load when it was too full. c:

Thanks for letting us know! I had the exact same thought as Skolletta, and was afraid it was removing the newest stuff. Phew!
