This weekend is CS bonus/challenger release?

They said they're not doing Bonus Weekend anymore (Well, they said not this month, but they made it sound like they're never doing it again), but I don't know if they'll still be bringing back past challenger items or not.

It's around the time of the month where Blake usually shows up, hopefully that will be happening soon. No idea where he'll be going next though. My guess is either Riverside or Centropolis, but I could be wrong. Or maybe Shengui Guo.

I suppose it's a good sign that they aren't doing the bonus weekends anymore. They must be meeting their needed cashflow quotas. I'm more interested in the battle challengers anyway. I dk why, I never have enough time to keep up with them as it is. LOL

[EDIT] Anyone else bothered by the "drop" of the window when we battle?

I find it doesn't happen if your sidebar has events showing.

Oh, they actually released the new Blake challenger today?

So it seems obvious that this month's pet is a Bumbus. Well, he says there's more than one, so I'm guessing it's a swarm of them. It makes sense since last month's challenger was multiple Aenoids that grew together and I think merged into one body with many heads or something?

Also, finally, the "obligatory easy challenger" I've mentioned before. I'll fight him at some point, since this is one my pet can beat.

I realised that in the past 3 years, these "obligatory easy challengers" have been related to Centropolis. In 2018 there was Esmerelda, in 2019 there was Jeremy (from the Pawn Shop), and now this year there's Blake exploring an area of Centropolis. So if they were to continue having these monthly challengers next year, and have them related to the different places, I'll be surprised if the one related to Centropolis isn't an easy one.

Does Beekeeper Blake have any attacks? So they are harmless stingless bees? I un-selected my weapons and scrolls and didn't suffer damage. The middle sectio with the battle description remained blank. My tier 13 Magie had to forfeit..

He did nothing, no damage, no heal... [edit] Looks like this has been fixed.

If being frozen is your main problem, I would equip more parched baguette crystals.

General advice: the scroll disabling is really annoying so make sure you are using strong blocking weapons. A wind blocker like Swashbuckle or Blessed Trident is mandatory since he deals wind with every weapon. I would prioritize earth blocking next and pair your wind blocker with either Maniacal Slappy Hand or Ornamented Hook Swords.

If I remember correctly, I think I staggered my freezing scrolls and tried to use them later in the battle because using them all to chain freeze at the beginning left me fewer options toward the end when I was closer to winning.

Bee-Blake is not interesting enough for me to want to farm him 100+ times for all his drops, so I'm not gonna.

I didn't even notice he wasn't doing damage. Haven't battled him with anything but high level pets who knock him out in one hit and would have healed fully if he had been able to do damage.

So much for my level one pet getting 100 wins. LOL
