To be fair, you've only been battling for about a year, right? At least you have decent AP and a general idea of what to do at this point.

I'm going to loan you some items. 6 freezing scrolls(Strong Stomp x3, Shriek of Despair x3), 2 full/near-full heals(Phoenix Quill, Reviver of the Lion), 1 full block(Shinwas Temple Shard), and one standard healer(Emerald Healing Staff), 1 attacker(Trusty Blades), as well as the mod crystals I think are best suited to blocking The Shadow's hardest hitting icons.

You can mod your weapons from this page(https://subeta.net/games/battle/mod_weapons.php), or from your inventory by clicking on the crystal in question. I'd suggest the Dark Defense crystals on Trusty Blades, since it already blocks some Dark icons. The rest can be spread over whichever weapons you bring into the battle.

Depending on how much damage you are taking on the first turn, use a healer or full block with your Scientist Specs. If you are still able to attack on the next turn, start using the freezer scrolls with whatever attackers/bomb you want.

Hold onto them until the end of the event. Once the Wrestlers go away, you can send the stuff back. In the meanwhile, get a feel for how it is to battle with that equipment and see what other opponents you can test yourself against. In the meanwhile, good night.

Unfortunately I don't know about a guide for the crystals. You can observe their icon defense range from https://subeta.net/games/battle/mod_weapons.php, just drag and drop each icon into an empty slot on the weapon. Make sure not to put more than one crystal over the same slot. When you have the mods placed, go to the bottom of the page click 'Apply Modification Changes'.

Phew. Ham strategy all the way. With 5k strength backing him, AoN and Negating Pylonic, and taking a chance on turn one to set up a freeze without wasting Spacial Abyss, I managed to eke out 5 wins for SunDragon. Nacho seemed to wise up and put the pummel down after 4, so cheesing him to 5 was so worth it. Got to really get back to boosting SunDragon again.

Just went out and got 3 new weapons and a scroll. I can't use 2 of the weapons until tier 8 but I'll have them handy for then.
