Seashell Spotter stopped giving out points, only an item every so often. I wouldn't have noticed but Maj D's quests keep asking for me to do Seashell Spotter.

Do you have a rough idea how many times you've played and got SP payout today? Most games have a cap on how many times you can get paid out in a day. Not sure if Seashell Spotter is one of those.
To my (admittedly pitiful) memory, seashell spotter didn't have a limit since you could play more than 10x each day...sort of like divine discs. Maybe with all the changes, it now has a limit on payouts of sP. But I still got a "shell" item since it stopped giving sP. So who knows.
EDIT for 2/3/2020 As you can see, this is my first Seashell Spotter of the day and I didn't receive any points at all.

Thank you for the report. I see what the issue is.
There actually is a limit on how much sP you can get from seashell spotter daily, but there is no limit on how many shell items you can get, since those are rarer.
This means, every day, it keeps track of how much sP you earn that day, and it stops giving sP if you are above that limit. Every night, this is supposed to get cleared so you can keep earning more sP the next day. It looks like the code that clears it every night is not working.
I will work on a solution to this, and keep you updated :)

This should now be fixed! And I see that your sP limit reset correctly for today, so you should be getting sP again. Does this match what you notice today?
