Yeah. It was only like the last 3 days of Oct that SF was up so I forgot there were more than just Grelca's test avs!
...ok I had soooo many HAs uploaded in Oct. 2009 and was confused as to how that happened but then I remembered I saved every HA I made prior to that date and I guess... just went wild when SF premiered lol.

For my , it was looking at the change in the emo fashion scene in the past 10 years. The mutli-colored hair streaks have been replaced by black-to-bright ombres, while those big 'ol stompin boots have been swapped out for booties with high, chunky heels. Piercings and tattoos are way more common these days too, as workplace acceptance has grown in the past decade. The button-down + vest/corset that used to be super popular is out of vogue now, and emo girls these days wear a lot of crop tops/oversized shirts and those tight tank tops with all the strings that take like a year to put on correctly. Some people still wear scarves, but the days of buffalo print and striped scarves are dwindling slowly, so I gave her headphones instead (bc she's too cool for airpods I guess). The stockings I picked just because anime's making such a huge comeback in 80's and 90's kids in terms of nostalgia commodities, and tights like the ones here are pretty popular even outside of the weeb/emo fashion communities (at least I think??? I'm not an expert). Last but not least, I picked a hat that vaguely reminded me of American Horror Story: Coven because all the emo girls wear those hats (check my closet, I promise it's true). The final result: Private Outfit Style-file This was a fun challenge, I look forward to the next one!

So excite! I'm a little bummed that my earliest avatars are too new (Nov 5, 2010 is my first) But I'm super excited to look through the old ones of the suggested users and find something fun to revamp <3 Thanks for the event!!!!
