I haven’t been on here for most of the month, but I’ve just caught up with all this month's news on here.

Hope all is well there at Neo. I’m a player there (not for months and months now though) but have had a couple of my accounts hacked which brings bad feelings about the website. As you can see my name comes from a petpet, although I never ever actually had a Jinjah. It was just a random name I thought of when I joined.

It’s Australia Day here which is why my HA is celebrating - not for the end of the fires unfortunately. Tragically 3 Americans were killed when an air tanker crashed fighting our fires. :( :( :( Hoping for rain!! We had one crazy few minutes of heavy rain and hail, but the sun came out in force straight after. :( - also of course, it didn’t rain where the rain is needed.

Its alright, honestly it sucks just as much as it used too. But somehow I got obsessed again with customizing.

Jinjahs are really cute honestly! I was wondering where I knew that name from haha.

It's nice to see you back with your pets. Happy Australian day and may lots of rain pour down soon and the fires be put out. I'm so sorry and sad to hear about the air tanker crashing.

It finally warmed up here and quit snowing. It rains some but we see a little bit of sun each day. I'm glad you don't live where the fires are. Everyone who lives in our building who knit have been knitting pouches and beds for baby kangaroos who have lost their mothers. (((hugs)))

, no I didn't start it. One of the aids did. I was told she also took them with her on vacation to Mexico and put them on a plane that was making a mercy flight to Australia. 😄

The slower pace, I'm enjoying it for sure right now.I'm in no hurry for him to walk all the time.But I do have a plastic child fence in his area which is the front room where his toys are that I think will take him a while to figure out to get out of,I even have trouble getting out of it Lol 😉 Hugss =)

I am OK now - just some lingering bruising and headaches. I sustained a grade 2 concussion, dislocated shoulder, and knee injury (not to mention bruising and stiffness all over). Very lucky not to have any broken bones!

I was driving through an intersection and an SUV pulled out of a shopping center towards the intersection and didn't stop (they had a red light). I braked as fast as I could and swerved to the left but couldn't fully stop in time. Luckily since I swerved and hit the back end of the SUV, the two guys in the front of the SUV had no major injuries (the SUV took heavy damage though). My car was totaled so I'm currently renting and shopping for a new one :(

I'm sorry you went through that but glad your doing ok. I hope you get better soon.

that's really terrible :( I hope you find the car you want. Did the guys say why they left the shopping centre without stopping? I suppose they're denying they did that. Amazing how life can change in just a second. Not that your life has changed permanently, but it's still very stressful and you've had some bad injuries. Lucky you reacted very quickly in the accident or things could have been a lot worse!
