Welp, I've just gone and sent an event to all of my followers and it went through successfully. (Sorry to all my shop followers for the spam..) I guess that means it is only a partial failure .
Could you please let me know how many followers your shops have? Can you also let me know what the exact text of the event is you are trying to send?
Also, do you happen to know around which date this issue started to happen?

Ah, you didn't get my event? Oh dear, thank you for letting me know. That is pretty upsetting because I didn't actually get a blank page, I even got the nice green Success message Dx

Just letting you guys know - this issue was resolved. These events may take a few minutes to go through, because they are not instantaneous anymore, they will be sent to each user one at a time. (So, the more users you are eventing, the longer it may take, but it shouldn't be longer than a few minutes under normal site conditions.) But all the events should succeed. :)
