exactly as described, can't make a new ping group. tried different names, it doesn't go through. There's no apostrophes anywhere and the #'s i tried arent being used.

I'm having the same issue, really want to create a group and can't 😔

can't edit my existing ping groups also - like changing permissions, the changes won't save.

having the same issue, the "create group" button is non responsive and doesn't actually input anything

Existing forum groups are also not receiving pings. I tried to send out yesterday, and never received the ping, nor did I receive the pings from the day before.

sounds like these may be related, since they all involve forum groups.

As of today it's still not fixed as I was trying to create a group to keep people updated on the fires in Australia, will there be a notification of when this is repaired?

EDIT will there be a fix soon as I'm starting to cop some flack for using group pings that aren't explicitly for the group, one person has commented me with this:

"Is creating a new group function broken? It would allow you to create a group and then ping them regarding your topic. I realize it's an important topic for you; however, I have anxiety issues and would rather not be pinged numerous times regarding real life issues. Thank you for your understanding."

I totally understand and have made apologises for each ping that others of those groups don't want, but as it is to ping those that do my hands are tied to using the existing groups #'s I seriously beg you to see if this can be moved into a priority listing of things to fix, I know you are busy or are passed out exhausted from the previous months of fixing but please 😢

I apologise Bug, I didn't actually read/notice the profile box comment until after I'd sent it, I swear I would not have hit send if I had seen it prior, I really am sorry for not paying attention. In my lame defence I wanted to say that I only commented you personally as I hadn't seen any updates or news on what was happening and I didn't know who else to ask for help. Again I apologise and hope you can understand it was an honest error on my part.
