In recent years, terms like "going green" and "eco-friendly" have become buzz words all around. Yet are we following this path consequently? By pursuing the true meaning of eco-friendly, you can implement the practices that will lead to healthier living for the planet and its inhabitants, big and small.
So let’s have an eco-friendly celebration of the New Year to come, and discuss which good ideas we want to incorporate into our lives 2020!
Challenges: 1. Depict your HA, celebrating an eco-friendly party! You are allowed up to 2 entries. Each HA gains 10 raffle tickets, the best 3 HAs gain 100 additional raffle tickets.
Tell us your ideas of becoming even more eco-friendly in 2020! Each idea gains 5 raffle tickets.

Not using much for makeup. Most containers aren't recyclable and some materials are mined with slave labor such as mica.

Not eating foods that are hard to grow or require too many resources only to produce little yield.

Buying goods and services from reputable markets that support clean manufacturing.

Cleaning up with eco-friendly cleaners and homemade solutions.

Reusing plastic bags and using cloth bags for groceries.

Taking part in local cleanups for removing garbage out of neighborhoods and the environment.

Going green by cleaning up trash and replanting trees.

Outfit Not Found She is hosting an eco-friendly masquerade party. Her clothes and decorations are all made from plants, and her photoshoot backdrop is made of all-natural dyes from flowers! Her makeup is also homemade by her from plants and organic materials. Outfit Not Found He is attending a formal wedding where the couple has tried to keep their celebration as environmentally friendly as possible. He himself is wearing a biodegradeable suit made from plant-based materials.

Composting plant or plant-based materials. Using a reusable water bottle and filtering tap water instead of buying packs of water bottles. Buying clothing from thrift stores and only buying clothing that you plan to keep for a long time. Homegrowing vegetables if possible, or at least an herb garden, to reduce plastic packaging for food. Buying more raw and unprocessed ingredients to make meals, versus buying highly processed foods. Being more conscious of water use during showers and dishwashing. Reusing decorations and materials from previous parties for future parties or decorations. Trying to make more things you own multi-use.

Outfit Not Found She's at the recycling center dropping off her recycling, and also volunteering to help sort the other recycling that has been dropped off. Outfit Not Found She owns a craft store that deals exclusively with eco-friendly products, such as plant-based fabrics and recycled plastic. While tending the store, she enjoys making crafts from her own recycled products, like the woven wallet she is holding or the paper-folded rabbit at her feet.
