hellooooo everyone! We've been working hard over the last few days to wrap up a lot of the problems plaguing the site after our downtime. Thank you again for your patience while we work this out.

High level updates:

• We are now entirely off of Amazon!
• I rewrote our entire database structure, which was a lot of work. This basically boils down to routing all of our legacy queries
• I moved us from our legacy caching infrastructure to a more modern redis cache -- this also took a fair amount of work but should speed up the site significantly

Things we know are broken:

• Shoutbox auto refreshing
• Some areas of the site still break with apostrophes
• Legacy shops currently do not show up (all of the items in them are fine)

We're still working on lag / general errors as well, and will keep updating over the next few days!

Hello! Fixes are still ongoing, but here's a quick update with a little more detail, to keep you in the loop!

Since we have so much coding/fixing to work on, we cannot list every error we're aware of right now, or take the time to acknowledge many bug reports with a staff reply. However, please rest assured we are still reading every report, so if you've said something or pinged us somewhere, rest assured that it's not being ignored - and that we appreciate you bringing it to our attention. <3

Okay, now for some info!

Vending machines

• The fixes for these ended up being more complicated than we hoped. But the good news is that we've been working on them and these are so close to being fixed now. They have been taken down until the fixes are complete.

Things not resetting properly

• I've deployed some fixes and will be watching at midnight to see how things go!
• The fixes I made are for the following dailies: Vending, The Rift, Ujin's shop, Stargazer, Carnival games, Item drive, Recycle beast, Potion lottery, Hustler, Shinwa's quests, the safe, bones, free food, zapper, ikumoradeekanox

Ticket creation

• The error with filing and replying to tickets has been fixed. You can use apostrophes.

Trades

• Both creating and accepting trades should work correctly.
• An error while searching trades by username has been fixed.

Profiles

• Both pet and user profiles will go through correctly now, apostrophes and all.
• Same goes for editing profile sections.

Other fixes

• Fixed a problem that was causing the CW queue to not be processed correctly. It should be running correctly now.
• Fixed error when a pet applies for a new job position
• Fixed forum groups not showing up on forum home page
• Fixed error that showed up when creating wardrobe drawers

Quests have reset :)

Hellloooooo - I just pushed out an update that hopefully wraps up a lot of the server work, an update on where we are:

• The MySQL (database) and redis (cache) loads are now under 100MS, which is incredible!
• The PHP load has gone up and stayed up, especially on pages like user shops or the autopricer which can load thousands of items at one time. This is going to take some reworking of those pages to match what modern architecture looks for (and in the case of user shops, some very small improvements) but I just pushed out some server updates that should increase the resources that can be dedicated to those pages on a rolling basis. That should get rid of timeouts and errors when loading shops!

We're very nearly at the end of the road here, is doing a great job fixing individual errors!

Hi everyone! I'm back with another quick <3 I want to mention some notable fixes:

☕ Battles and Battle Quests are working properly again!

☕ Vending machines are back up and giving from the correct prize pools again.

☕ Pet treasure chests - We've fixed the error some people received when reordering treasure items.

☕ Hair salon hairstyles should be fixed. If the change is not showing up on your avatar, try re-saving it, wait a few minutes, and hard-refresh the avatar image.

Thank you so much for your patience, and thank you to everyone who has provided useful bug reports over in the bug report forums. Though we haven't had time to reply to individual reports, we read and appreciate each one, and can promise nothing is being ignored.

Hello everyone, a few more fixes to mention:

☕ Battle - Wins should be counting correctly now. Thank you to the battlers who helped me diagnose and test this error. <3 Unfortunately, we are not able to retroactively fix the incorrect counts tallied over the past week, but we've taken your suggestions into account.

☕ Pet order is now working correctly; both custom and quick order should be working properly again.

☕ CW Shop Descriptions and Category Descriptions can now be edited even if you use apostrophes!

I have reported it but I cannot reset them.

There is an open topic in P&B for wishlists. I cannot fix anything, just report it.
