Yes! In rl as well with Thanksgiving and such. I don’t understand why people feel the need to immediately jump from spookiness to winter festivity without hardly acknowledging the holiday in between. It drives me nuts.

i would love to join! i've just come back to the site after a 2-year hiatus or so and i've missed participating in HA contests. and i've missed the holiday season on subeta! i was around for the first fireside (which must have been around the time you joined?) and it was really fun experiencing the new holiday coming to be so i have a nostalgic soft spot for it as well c:

anyway, here's my fantasy entry:

i've used some fireside items for this one that were only really to give a subtle touch of color (like the tattoos) so i don't think it's fair to count them all for the item bonus. here's a list of the fireside items i felt were more significant, but of course you have the final say as to which you actually count:

I was originally thinking of a dragon for my fantasy HA and it turned into more of a dragon-ish fall imp creature, haha. Modern was fun too, wanted to keep it simple with a bonfire background.

They're both pretty awesome!

I love freckles. Over half my avatars have them.

I need more freckle items.... glad e1 is using ones I don't have so I can add them to my wardrobe!
