It has been that way for over a decade, but since books already have an important use (Alchemy Points for battling), they've not been made wearable.

In the specific case you've brought up, it also means that this specific recolor would be more desirable than the other four, who wouldn't have a dual use.

there are other examples like The Misleading Tale which is both a book and wearable, or are you just talking about event items

Yeah there are a couple of wearable books, all of them who were added in the first few years of the avatar system.

Maybe don't make old plot items readable unless you re-release at the same time? -____- C'mon now.

i didnt know it became readable i had one in my shop and someone grabbed it at 600k yowch looks like it will be a while before i can read it to my reading pet.

not mad that it was bought, i just would have pulled and read it to my own pet if i knew

love to see when stuff gets added but it would be nice if there was a way that everyone could know when stuff like this is added

love to see when stuff gets added but it would be nice if there was a way that everyone could know when stuff like this is added I was pretty buffed to see that at the top of my collections list all of a sudden - my main pet reads old to new and it was time for him to read another one.

Anyone know why and were rejected? They're in the "individually rejected" category but I went through each page of this topic and didn't see them mentioned. The Sugar Pixie item name and description both imply that it's edible (and therefore the dark matter one too) so I'm curious what the reasoning was.

They don't always give reasons for items being rejected. I believe those two came on one of the previous threads for these sort of suggestions, and yeah I don't always personally understand the decisions either, but since I'm not a staff member there's only so much I can do.

I can bring them back up again though in the first post with that reasoning based on the description to have them be reconsidered maybe.

I was mostly just curious - if you think it should be revisited, I wouldn't mind it it were re-added to the first post! I don't necessarily want to potentially set a precedent of staff changing their minds about things like this, but also stranger things have happened on subeta 😂.
