Just to be clear, once you get the 3 paint splats, as soon as you click a different direction key it ends up saying game over?

We understand your frustration with the games not working. We want you to know that we do see your reports. One of the problems is that these games are so old that the current staff cannot troubleshoot the code of the old staff. Another issue is that we have to devote our time to other more widespread issues such as the recent login issues. 😰 sorry for the radio silence on this, folks! these games are OLD and built on a javascript library that doesn’t have an uncompiled version anymore, which makes debugging a huge pain.

the good news? games like this are WAY easier to build now using standard browser tech (a lil canvas magic) compared to the chaotic flash-to-html5 scramble back then.

i’m setting a personal challenge to rewrite spectrail—maybe a simpler version—before year’s end. if i can’t get something more usable up by then, i’ll look into hiring a contractor to tackle it.
