My username is my online alias for the past 12, almost 13 years. All my online friends know me as Luck. I was really excited when it became available and I changed my username on here to it, since it's a common word it's the only website I'm able to have it as a username.

My user name came from a different spelling of my last name and also the main creatures in the book I was reading at the time, gryphons. Someone already had the name so I added grl because I hated the letter I for some reason? I don't know. I have had this name or a take on it for twenty years.

My username is actually my second one. I decided to change it because my old one was longer so I wanted a shorter one. I had a few ideas but they were all taken. I really wanted something HP related but as I said before, all I could think of was taken. Then I stumbled upon Elixir & fell in love with it! I think it's a beautiful word & then it does relate to HP & also a book that I really like with that as the title. So, here I am!

My user name pink_dolphin was created many years ago when I played at a different pet site. I was using another name when I started there but wanted a user name to honor where I resided there "Dolphin City". I though of other colors like blue,green ,yellow but none sounded right. When I tried pink_dolphin I new had the name I was looking for. To top it off I later was told there were actually pink_dolphin,I knew it was a perfect user name for me!

And I have been told at time that others like my user name!

So my username came from a nickname I i[/i] gave myself. I used to want to be a fashion designer and in middle school my friends also used to joke that I was "fast like a puma," which was a reference to Hannah Montana I think? So...fash+puma. It's not great but I use it everywhere and I'm kinda stuck with it now lol

My username CrowCorvus is such because my first name is Crowley, Crow for short, and I really hecking love corvids. They're smart on levels comparable to the smartest animals like elephants and dolphins, they use tools, they have language, they PLAY PRANKS, basically corvids are smart birds and probably better people than us.

my username is a real word! an ossuary is a place where human bones are stored after death. i take genuine joy in memento mori and similar memorabilia: death is something that fascinates me rather than frightens or upsets me (although i admit to being slightly squeamish). i think being aware of death and decay in everyday life is good for us as living people, so that even if we do encounter death (before our own), we won't be quite as terrified and unable to cope with it. i wanted a single-word name that felt good and not cumbersome to say, and that encompassed that aspect of my personality :)

Brinny is actually a shorter nick name of a user name I used for a few years. On the OTHER site I was using Brinneal as a user ID, and people on there always shortened it to Brinny. So when I joined here, I just used the shortened version.

Brinneal was chosen ages ago because I was learning Gaelic and I was researching words. Came across the word and really liked it. It basically means Beautiful Young Maid or Matron. Tad bit conceited? lol well maybe at the time..but it def does not apply now. I just really thought it was a nice sounding word. :)

You see back in the day I was a member of a fandom 'Ask the Character Anything' type roleplay community for Hetalia. In it I played the characters Sealand and Germania. One of the other players jokingly referred to me as Seamania (a combination of the names of both the characters I played) and the name stuck. I go by different names on other sites nowadays (because I really don't like Hetalia anymore) but I joined Subeta around the same time I was in the Hetalia fandom... sooo I just went with my rp nickname for my name here.

I'll probably change it to something less embarrassing some day...

My username was picked because it sounded pretty :3

my UN is based on kylo ren -- kylo naberrie, the naberrie part being padme's original surname, "amidala" was the one she took when she took office, it being naboo custom to change it.

kylo means a lot to me -- she's my main kintype, and both my headmates/sisters are fictives of her. (she/her bc trans woman ky ftw) her story to me symbolises how you don't have to have ill intentions in order to breed evil; and how goodness is something we each have to constantly strive for, it is never inherent or achieved. while han and leia are good people their negligence still bred a supervillian right under their noses. i also relate to kylo a lot because i very nearly went down several dark paths during my lifetime, and also she's just damn relateable in her behaviour and motivations. but, the biggest thing for me is falling victim to systematic neglect -- the american school system almost literally killed me. she's me if i hadn't gotten help in time, so i have a lot of compassion and love for her.

i like naberrie as a last name for her because i think padme represents a lot of healing she needs to do in her life; the legacy she should strive for rather than vader's.
