Why do you like October so much?

I live in New England so I love the color of the leaves and the weather is my favorite! I also love all things spooky (minus spiders lol). Halloween is my favorite holiday. I love horror books and movies!

I love october for one reason; ( or well two... ) 1. being the olorful leaves and muchroom hunting in the forests... the 2nd being its season for haunted houses. Last year I was an volunteer at a haunted house in a neighbouring town. This year I am on their on-call list. ( aka the list they go to in case some of the actors gets sik or cant come )

I love October so much, . It's my favorite month. :D

-- well, Subeta will fit the bill exactly! If you have any questions about stuff, I'm always willing to help. My life might get a little busy here in the next few days for about two months, but I'll still be checking back regularly. This group of people is a -really great- asset to have. There's a ton of knowledge and helpful people in here. :D

Oh not me! I hate scary things! lol I like Halloween because I like goth-like things... but haunted houses are -not- for me. :P

I think Im so calm about scary stuff cuase was expoed to it from a very young age, as well as I thanks to having been working in the theatre, know of the tricks the actors use ( in the live haunted house. The ones with robots and machines are mostly just laughable to me; often you will find that the track loops at a certain point. Or you can just see when jumpscares will happen )

I also have been LARPing for a couple years and along with that gotten an interest in special effect makeup, so I've ben looking ata lot of fake wounds and blood and all that, while learning how to do it myself.

But this haunted house I am part of, they are working along with a university where a proffessor studies and teaches in the study of fear and how it affects people. It is actually pretty interesting i I must say.

My favorite part about fall is the leaves changing colors also and being slightly cooler outside. Especially when my mom and I go to my grandma's house. Since she lives out near the mountains we drive past creeks and the trees are so pretty. They get so orange and red it looks like they are on fire. I miss that about living out in the country. Here where I live more closer to the beach not all of the trees change.

I've always been pretty fascinated by psychology and fear.. and why certain things really bother most people in general. :)

It's always something interesting for me to see in fall too, because I grew up around pine trees. They dont really change colors.
